This is my third year and around my fifth time and I am always impressed with their high standards..i.e. ..this October they remembered my son's birthday from the year before and so the breakfast table was accordingly decorated. So thoughtful....for me it's such gestures that contribute in making this hotel so awesome. It is always my favorite place to stay when we have Europa Park plans with the kids or simply to go wandering in the surrounding Black Forest. The beautiful vineyards and walking tracks close by compliment the hotels' location. I will be back! Thankyou again for a great time

Review 13：Lovely warm greeting on arrival, hotel spotless and terrace area beautiful, the staff were all very friendly and helpful (even let us keep out black forest ham in their fridge), and breakfast and dinner were outstanding. Will definitely be back.

Review 14：Lovely hotel, great location and breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Only small complaint is that there was no aircon so our attic room was stifling hot during the day. Probably not an issue if not in the attic level and of course not in winter. We would recommend this hotel.

Review 27：My Room had a balcony overlooking a stream, which is exactly what I have at home in Snowdonia, Wales. The staff of the Hotel and people of Glotteral were very helpful and friendly and their English was very good, which was a great help. I will be staying there again.

Review 34：The staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in very late after a long day touring the Black Forest and the kitchen was almost closed but they served us a wonderful dinner. My daugther and myself enjoyed the pool in the morning before breakfast and it was a luxury and a great way to start our day. The hotel is surrounded by the Black Forest and it has wonderful vistas. We felt vey much at home in this hotel and I would recommend it while you are visiting this beautiful part of Germany.

(If you book a hotel in this area..Freiburg /Colmar, be aware that breakfasts in Germany are normally included inthe price whereas in France they are not, and if you are staying for 4or 5 days, that can add to the hotel bill. Review 99：This is a small family run hotel a short distance from the autobahn when we arrived I asked about the sauna it was turned on even though I was the only user,the pool area is lovely with loungers,we had dinner and it was perfect and great value,for those worried about the parking there is ample outside the hotel and a car park across the road, a nice touch is the small football area in between the apple trees breakfast was buffet with plenty of choice,checkout was fast and efficent

Review 105：We had a brilliant time at this hotel, lovely staff, food, accommodation, there is a lovely stream running at the rear of the hotel, which you can view from your balcony, room was spacious beds very comfortable. Food was amazing, couple of funny moments during translation, cater very well for vegetarians, I have stayed before with my husband and granddaughter, this trip was with my daughter and my friend and they all love staying there. Staff were very attentive and friendly, all spoke very good english. Breakfast was very good, good selection of meats, cereals, cheeses, breads etc. Will definately be staying again

Review 106：The hotel was being partially renovated when we were there, and it would have been better to have been warned. Although our room was spacious, it was quite plain except for the renovated bathroom, and lacked the decorative touches that are frequently found in German country hotels.

Review 107：The hotel is one of many in a quaint German village. The amenities were welcome, there is a small indoor swimming pool with a spa theme. The bathrooms in all rooms have been renovated and are excellent. The best feature, though, is the kitchen which is excellent and that excellence is heightened by the serving person, Nadine, who should be a German national treasure.
