Review 1：Our room was on the second floor, right up the stairs from the dining room. It got really loud in the mornings & evenigs, I think the walls of the place are thin in general. Go for a larger corner room if possible.

Review 2：The staff was so friendly & the food was excellent. The multiple pools were a big plus & the entire place is really gorgeous. My husband and I were here for our honeymoon & were not disappointed.

Review 3：We were there in high season so perhaps that made it worse but the price vs quality is terrible. There are three very small pools, not enough sun deck chairs at the pools or the beach. The rooms are ok but nothing special. What you get for what you pay is not in balance.

Review 8：Great staff; rooftop pool is really cool. The location is great, only one block to the beach and four to a mall with large supermarket, different kinds of food and shops. Cabs arrive really fast and it's close to the airport. Restaurant food is great!

Review 9：This is an old resort. For the price you don't get much, no tea and coffee facilities, no room service and tired facilities. We had to change room because of noise from AC units outside that made the whole room vibrate.

Review 17：Reception and all restaurant areas had no air conditioning and were incredibly hot. I had to wait for a good few minutes to be checked in even though there were three staff behind the desk. I had to pay for the bottle of still water in the room which was on the table. I had assumed this was free but I was made to pay for it on check out.

Review 20：The fact that I was greeted with a lukewarm response by the front desk person was an unpleasant start to my stay. Each follow-up interaction with random staffers felt the same, as if they were annoyed by my questions. Breakfast was very poor, music noise adjacent to the properly poured in through my window until well past midnight, and in general the rooms are not at al peaceful or cozy. My main complaint with hotels is when you can hear doors slamming on the same floor. This is a major issue a this hotel and I would never stay here again because of this (and I wear the best ear plugs money can buy). Another complaint I have is the fact that the wifi signal was very sporadic and only worked well in the lobby. Moreover, breakfast was uninspired and the ambivalent staff working the breakfast area confirmed for my suspicions: that this place doesn't treat their employees well, as they are all seemingly unhappy; any hotel who doesn't care for their staff is clearly cutting corners elsewhere, which shows in the overall quality of the experience. Highly NOT recommended.

Review 22：I came to visit my daughter who is currently living in Colombia. I wanted her to come join me in the pool and they would not allow it. They wanted me to pay $40.00 USD. I already am paying a lot for the room. When we ask to talk with the manger he was no where to be found. It was a horrible rule when they have 3 pools in the hotel that were all empty. After we decided to go to the beach where we could use the beach tents. When we were approached to buy fish on the beach for lunch the Santorini worker rudely came up and told us we cant eat under the tent, even though we had been buying drink from them. They were not accommodating.

Review 28：First of all, it's too expensive for what they have comparing to other beach areas around the world. Secondly, I was confirmed to be picked-up from the airport but my name wasn't on the list. And finally, I announced an early check-in (arrived at 11am at the front desk and check-ins begin at 3pm) and was told to wait till they call me when my room was ready. So I went to the beach, to the city port, took a boat ride, came back by 7pm and no one had called. I felt that because they have so many costumers during this high season, they actually don't care that much.

Review 29：Most of the staff are really friendly and helpful. Location of facilities are great, if you don't want to leave the Bello Horizonte area. It's just 5-10 minutes from/to the airport. Breakfast has a good assortment.They have a very nice Sky Bar a the top of the building.

The room we had was an arabic room that looks more a room from a low budget hotel it was not possible to close the window so it was not difficult for robberies, the safe in the room was not working, the Floor from the shower was approx. 35cm higher than the roomfloor so you can easy brake your legs, no light on the nightstand, television was not possible to view. Afther complain we received one better room but still was not worth the money. I can not understand how they give this very bad hotel 5 stars. My advice there are much better hotels in the area for less money.

There is absolutely nothing like "resort " the hotel is managed and served by novices without expertise and training. For the price you paid it is really a fraud. Don't ever go there. Review 77：In restsurant on first night i tried to order a drink at exactly ten oclock only to be told the bar closes at ten. No prior warning and no attempt to see if it was possible even though we were the only customers. The hotel has plumbing problems which sometimes results in no water for short periods and insufficient water pressure generally in toilets. This seems to be true for the area as a whole and needs addressing. Breakfast could do with more variety, only three fruits appear to be known to the kitchen and two of those are melon and pappaya, two of the most easy to get bored off. The rooms need a waste bin. The roof top pool has no shade so it is too hot to sit there during much of the day. There is a roller blind that would be a huge help but is broken and there is clearly no intention of fixing or replacing it. It is this lack of attention to detail (not uncommon in colombia) which stops this being a genuine 5* hotel. We did like and enjoy our stay here tho!

Review 78：Modern and clean, very quiet so we got a top floor corner room with sea views. Two nice pools and a good gym all of which we often had to ourselves. The beach here is much nicer and quieter than cartagena, rodadero, taganga etc. Not sure why its not busier except maybe the choice of places to eat / go out locally is very limited.

Review 84：Expensive for what it was. Rude staff. Silly rules ie my Dad and I hadcompleted the Cuidad Peridad trek that day, my brother who had alreadydone the trek earlier came to meet us for dinner. We were not ready intime, we were exhausted and things were taking longer than usual so weasked if my brother could come up to the room whilst we finished gettingready. The answer was 'if he goes up to the room we will chargeyou'. But it was ok for him to cone with us to their overpricedsushi restaurant where there was a very loud and offensive band playing.The music wad blaring, yet only a handful of people, all who were tryingto enjoy an expensive meal. You can get much better valued accommodationelsewhere....we also stayed at Casa de Farol....which was delightful!Stay there...cheaper and much nicer!

If I pay more than $250 for a room, and $50 for drinks Iexpect to get a better service than that. When we mentioned that it wasour honeymoon to the staff the least I expected was for someone to saycongradulations. I also think the hotel could offer passes for guest soyou don't have to pay extras at the beach for chairs and parasols. Thehotel was very nice but I think the price was definitely too high forwhat you get.
