Review 1：This hotel was wonderful. The friendly, helpful staff couldn't do enough for us (despite our complete lack of German) with advice on where to go, flexibility with children's meals and Stefan's endless cocktails and card tricks at the bar to entertain the children. It is a fabulous location - walking distance from the centre of Oberstdorf which is a picture postcard Bavarian town with lots of cafe's and restaurants, but also with stunning views of the Alps. The family room was ideal for us with three children, with two large bedrooms, one with seating area and balcony, interconnected by a large hall useful for dumping outdoor wear. The pool and spa was beautiful, immaculately kept and welcoming to children at certain times to play but all times to swim - rare indeed. We will return!

Review 4：The waitress promised outstanding 5 star personal service at dinner but was very slow and did not deliver on the promise. We felt neglected even after speaking up as we were hungry !!

Review 8：Everything has been thought through to make sure that you have everything you need; I am a man of details and it is one of the rare time I was satisfy with service, the equipements and cleanliness. People are very nice and friendly; swimming pool and the rest area are just brilliant; would go back with no hesitation; We were in one of the lower price room - which are aready great- but felt like a 5 star all way long;

Review 13：The bar lacked evening atmosphere and needed music. Therefore only used it once. The restaurant menu lacked flexibility - 4 courses only. Did not consider smaller appetites and we ate elsewhere.

Review 14：Room accommodation was excellent. Nice to have bright lighting in bathroom and magnifying mirror. Location, parking, surroundings,luxury spa facilities and great breakfast with a 1100 finish. Catered for total relaxation. Excellent swimming facilities.

Review 17：We liked everything! If writing a letter of personal thanks to the Frankfamily who own the hotel after we got home (something my wife or myselfhave never done before with any other hotel despite staying at some verynice ones over the years) sums up a wonderful four days. A modern hotel with impeccable service where staff were quick to not just ask but remember your name throughout your stay. They genuinely were all there to make their guests' stay a special one such as when they realised we had very limited German, menus were produced with English translation for each dinner and left in neat scrolls with bows on our table. Dinners were an amazing five or even six course gourmet experience not to be missed. Sitting too on the terrace for breakfast in the shadow of the Nebelhorn: what a way to start the day. The bedrooms were modern and tastefully decorated, as was the whole hotel, and the view from our room included the ski jump hill: no doubt even more spectacular in winter. Oberstdorf itself is a beautiful alpine town in the Allgäu region of the Bavarian Alps with a good mix of shops and restaurants. The hotel was easily walkable (850 metres) from the train and bus station with hourly trains to and from Munich where we flew into from the UK. For a view of the town from the top of the Nebelhorn: the cable car was again easily walkable distance. My only regret about this review is we are limited to three hundred words as we haven't mentioned the Spa and indoor pool facilities, beautiful restful gardens with outdoor pool and all in the shadows of 8,000 foot peaks. Would we go back? An easy one to answer! Auf wiedersehen
