Reviews for Euro Park Hotel International
Review 1:-Our first room was completely out-dated. The only saving grace was the view. Our second night there was a mix up with reservations (my fault, not theirs) so we ended up in a different room. MUCH better room but no view. My husband and I came to the conclusion that the updated rooms have no view and the rooms with the view are still decorated for the 70s. The first night I felt like we were staying in the Overlook Hotel from the Shining. Seriously gave us the creeps. -Had to pay for standard wifi... Seriously? I thought that was pretty common to offer these days when your customers are from the 21st century. I hate to sound like a jerk, but even the crappiest hotel in the states offers fee standard wifi. -Want to park your car in the hotel parking garage? Sure, 5 euros a night. -The showers need a door instead of a curtain. Water covered the bathroom floor as the shower curtain blew open every time the water was turned on or the curtain stuck to you like glue. -Breakfast. Hope you're not expecting anything too fancy because this is not the place with an espresso machine or assorted pastries. Coffee comes from a caraf, hot dogs sit next to the eggs, and Miso soup is available next to the yogurt...
Review 2:Loved the view from our room the first night and the location of the hotel in proximity to the center of downtown - my husband and I were able to walk to town from the hotel easily and left the car in the parking garage. The front desk staff was VERY friendly! :) If you made it to breakfast early enough, the warm croissants were still available and also delicious - favorite part of my morning there! ^_^
Review 3:Paid wifi, poor quality pillow, wouldn't cost too much to renew a pair of pillow that matches the price of the hotel
Review 4:Nice location, lovely balcony with mountain and river view, warm and helpful staff
Review 5:Poor location. No air conditioning at all. No fan. No ceiling fan. This meant having to leave the door to the balcony open and dealing with bugs!! I killed a huge bug on the bed. It left blood and stuff all over the sheets. They were not changed!! The two paper thin towels which I used and left on the floor, were hung up for me to use again!! Seriously?? The corridors and stairwells reek of cigarette smoke. The bus loads ( and I mean bus loads) of Asian tourists cook off portable hot plates in their rooms. It's awful. Smelly. Trying to use the elevator when they were checking out in the am was a comedy. Breakfast was supposed to be included. But I was charged for it!! Ultimately the thing that put me over the edge (no it wasn't the gross buggy sheets) was the ridiculous wfi. Only one device can log onto the wifi per room. You can imagine how that went down with all four of us trying to check email or just surf the Internet. They charged for that too. The people working in the hotel are rude and exceptionally unhelpful. No one spoke English. On the morning we did try out the breakfast, all of the staff were sitting outside smoking and checking their phones!! I truly don't know what I was thinking when we booked this hotel. I guess I must have been tired. Oh, and it wasn't about money. All the hotels in the area charge the same.
Review 6:Not a single thing.
Review 7:Out of date interiors. Checked-in late & the receptionist couldn't give password for WiFi access - overpriced for the quality offered
Review 8:location
Review 9:Dated, Horrible shower (2'x2') curtain stuck to you. Wifi setup (1 device per room) that went over great with the teenagers.
Review 10:Location on beautiful river. breakfast was great.
Review 11:The hotel accommodates large Asian travel groups that visit Schloss Neuschwanstein, so some travelers might prefer a less commercial hotel atmosphere.
Review 12:Great quiet location near the river, walking distance to historic town. Good breakfast.
Review 13:WiFi wasn't free, had to pay 5 euros for 24 hours which I think is kind of silly considering internet is available everywhere over there. I'd much prefer it if they just included it in the price of the room like pretty much all the other hotels.
Review 14:Location was good, only about 10-15 minute walk from Füssen train station, rooms were relatively big and clean. We had a little balcony but there was no light on it so it wasn't too useful once it got dark. Breakfast was tasty and had a fair variety.
Review 15:Interior design really bothered me. It appeared they tried to make it really nice 30 years ago, but failed miserably. The place is outdated and the breakfast was poor. You can find much better hotels for less money.
Review 16:Beautiful surroundings Friendly staff Walking distance from the town center
Review 17:That there was a smoking smell in the stair cases.
Review 18:Nice big rooms, new bathrooms, great shower
Review 19:In room no tea seevice
Review 20:Breakfast is good
Review 21:None
Review 22:Very Helpful Team of people at the hotel and easy access to Castle Transportation
Review 23:Very nice room: nice big bathroom, comfy bed and a little living room. Free breakfast was very good.
Review 24:Hotel staff was very helpful.
Review 25:Wifi was horrible, plus only one device per room for a fee.
Review 26:The location was great, after that though it goes bad.
Review 27:Helpfulness of staff. And the Bavarian pub!
Review 28:1.no free wifi 2.force to have breakfast (3 euro per person, changed automatically) 3.location is hard to fine
Review 29:nothing
Review 30:Buses outside the hotel are making a lot of noise; this starts early in the morning. Internet is not free.
Review 31:Comfort and cleanness.
Review 32:the shower was super small, very uncomfortable. the breakfast is acceptable. The gym is not a big deal and the sauna is small. The room does not have mini-bar fridge and safe box.
Review 33:The location is great, near the downtown and the train station. The room had a nice view.
Review 34:Nothing from below didn't spoil our vacation as we spent very limited time in the hotel, but it would be nice to improve following: Bathroom is quite dark and need renovation in my point of view; Same for some of the doors - holes, scratches and other damages; Old TV with remote control with only 30% of the buttons working.
Review 35:Good location, nice view, friendly staff and fair breakfast.
Review 36:Breakfast was really cheap and not good, they charge you for parking. The hotel is a bit old and the rooms need an makeover. But 70 euro a night you get what you pay for.
Review 37:The Staff was really nice and polite the room with a balcony is quite nice for the view. The price is very attractive especially for one night.
Review 38:Hotel was difficult to find -even the natives didn't know it's location! It is located a distance from the main train station which is awkward if you are on foot and pulling a heavy suitcase. The bathroom did not smell clean. The main mirror was placed too high above the sink - I'm an average 160cm in height, I can only imagine what it must be like for shorter guests (of which there were many during my stay). The little magnifying mirror, a super addition to any bathroom, was located directly above the toilet! The sink had a visible crack in it. The shower unit was clean but you have to step up and over a wide ledge to get into the basin -which was dangerous when emerging from the wet shower -again it must be even worse for shorter people. My first impression of the dining room when I walked in for breakfast was - chaos! The dining staff were extremely busy trying to clear and prepare tables that they appeared rude - which I am sure they are not- it's just that they were so busy. There is a designated area for breakfast and another for dinner but this was ignored by a lot of visitors - which caused more work for the staff. I think the buffet would benefit with having a Supervisor to direct the people to the correct eating area and answer questions from visitors who are unfamiliar with the surroundings.
Review 39:Location close to the scenic river and great view of mountains. Balcony outside bedroom window. Good buffet - suiting a variety of European and Asian guests.
Review 40:Paid $5/night for wifi that was suppose to work in the room butdidn'T. Had to go to lobby. Shower head would not stay up, keptsliding down to waist height. Towels were very worn and thin. Bathroomscould use some major remodeling. We are young enough to make the hillswalking to town, but a frequent shuttle would be nice for older people.I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone 60+ or not fit.
Review 41:Staff at desk super nice! Restaurant very nice, and wait staffacceptional! Food was very good! Restaurant best part of hotel!
Review 42:The shower was way too small and the curtain clings to your body as you shower. Really not good.
Review 43:Waiter at the restaurant new but very friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was outstanding! Staff at the front desk were PHENOMENAL! Close to Neuschwanstein
Review 44:We arrived late and after being told that we could get some food stillin the bar for the next hour, we found 15 minutes later that the barhad closed. The internet did not work and there was clearly no interestin the staff to help fix the problems. Overall, the staff was non-service oriented.
Review 45:The bathroom is very small and the shower is tiny with a plastic curtain with no water pressure. For the size of the room the bathroom was a big disappointment. There is also only wi-fi in the lobby which has a very long log in code - I tried to log on twice and was not successful.
Review 46:The room we stayed in was enormous and had a lovely patio which was super. The check in staff were friendly and efficient and the underground parking is a big plus.
Review 47:The cleanness of the restaurant was not so good and neither thepersonal. The beda war not much comfortable.
Review 48:The views from the room and the free parking service.
Review 49:too much smoking in hotel, management should have designated smoking areas and guest should not be allowed to smoke in rooms.
Review 50:Breakfast buffet was more then plentiful to start my day, Food was always fresh. Rooms were very clean. My room had a balcony with a nice view of mountains and flowing river.
