Reviews for Hotel Trais Fluors

Review 1:Comfortable room, large bathroom, being able to make a warm drink in the guest tea kitchen. The Guest Card for use of the bus, local train, ski lifts, and mountain trains was an added bonus. The owners were friendly and helpful. This is a family run hotel in an older wooden building with a few creaky floors, and no elevators, but this added to the charm and we had help with our cases. We would stay there again.

Review 2:- recepção feita pelo dono - vista das janelas dos quartos - colchões, travesseiros e roupa de camas muito bons. - pães especiais no café da manhã.

Review 3:Would have preferred a firmer bed.

Review 4:Lovely hosts. Nice, bright, spacious, antique room with views of the surrounding mountains. Good access to transport and lift to ski.

Review 5:There is no WIFI in the house and the common tv is far too small to be seen of many people.

Review 6:The room was very big and spacy, Lovely mountain view. Soya Products on demand with no problems. Great service

Review 7:The only thing missing was wi-fi (there is a cable ethernet connection available) but wi-fi is available at some local restaurants in case being without it might cause symptoms of withdrawal.

Review 8:After having stayed in Zermatt for a few days, the goal was to see the Engadin region of Switzerland without the lofty hotel expenses and commercialism aimed at the upper crust of society, thus (at least for me) ruling out a hotel in St Moritz. Celerina seemed to be an ideal choice for its location within the region, and Trais Fluors turned out to be an excellent choice for lodging. It is an easy walk to the train station and is located just a few yards away from the major bus route that can transport you anywhere in the region. Transportation pass for a >1 night stay a real plus. The hotel is modest in nature, somewhere between a large B&B and a small hotel. That said, the rooms were cozy but comfortable and offered a sound night's sleep. Friend and I had a room facing the street and after about 9 PM there was no street traffic so not a problem keeping the windows open. Breakfast items represented products chosen from the area, including freshly baked breads and croissants delivered each morning at 6:30 (we know because we saw the delivery person). Robert, the owner, was gracious, helpful, warm, and made us feel welcome. We had a fascinating conversation about the history of the hotel, with 3 generations of his family caring for it and, before that, some interesting and surprising events that occurred with the building. He was also very quick to respond to emails sent prior to our visit. If you intend to simply make the Engadin region a one-day stop, this may not be the place for you. If you intend to plan for a few well-spent days getting to know the region, its scenery, and its people, this is an ideal place.

Review 9:Breakfast was a bit light, although all natural and local produce.

Review 10:Friendly reception, beautiful building, close to bus stop to go to St Moritz, plenty of things to do in Celerina. Spacious room 312 is a very good room. Delightful little village close to St Moritz. Free bus pass was provided for the Engadine area.

Review 11:Price. Very expensive even for Switzerland. Have stayed in many places

Review 12:Helpful staff easy parking, good location to cycleway

Review 13:A Place wehre you feel very much at home!

Review 14:Felt authentic. Period charm

Review 15:Nothing

Review 16:Owner very attentive, gave good advice Very close to bus stop at Celerina Big room, all facilities available

Review 17:No wifi, only a cable connection which I had trouble with. However that wouldn't stop me from coming back here

Review 18:This place is more like a guest house than a hotel. You have your own room in a lovely old house but there are also other rooms (kitchen, tv/ games room, breakfast room) where you can relax. Robert is a great host who does his best to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Celerina is a pretty village and much cheaper than St Moritz. Also if you are taking the Glacier Express try to stay at least 2 nights as you will receive a pass that entitles you to free transport in the area including cable cars and chairlifts. On one day I had used the equivalent of the cost of my hotel! Whilst the hotels may be cheaper in Zermatt by the time you pay for trains up the mountains Celerina ends up being cheaper.

Review 19:nothing

Review 20:A lovely 300-years-old house in peaceful Celerina, run by an absolutely charming family. Super pleasant and clean in a good location in Celerina (not far from the lifts, right near the bus station) I came to spend six days with my 9 years old daughter, so not having TV or Wi-Fi sounded a bit intimidating at first, but it turned out to be one of the greatest features of the hotel! I got to spend real quality time with my daughter: talking over breakfast, reading together in the evenings - instead of being locked each in his own separate virtual-world. But Robert and Ursula are such caring people, that they thought about internet addicts (such as myself) and installed a small "virtual corner" where you can plug a network cable into your lap-top anytime, and and gulp some e-mails or facebook pages. The ski site is excellent with super friendly and professional ski trainers (cheers, Patrick!) exciting ski trails with amazing views. We had the time of our life.

Review 21:My only critcism is, that the water was never hot before 6am!

Review 22:It was perfectly located as our friends live across the road. Not only that, but the staff are so happy & friendly, & couldn't do enough for us.

Review 23:We truly love the attention, the location, the room was spacious and uber clean. The breakfast was delicious with homemade marmalades and lovely atmosphere. The location was a plus too: near the railway station, the buses stops, the whole experience was excellent. We are planing to return next year!

Review 24:The hotel don´t have lift...

Review 25:The owner was very kind and the homade breakfast delicius!!!

Review 26:We liked our Host very much. He was very kind and helpful as well. The hotel has a great feeling.
