Surrounded by a garden and next to the Karwendel Nature Reserve, the Achentalerhof is only half a mile from Lake Achen and 300 ft from the Christlum ski lifts.
The indoor pool has direct access to the grounds. The spa area features 2 saunas, a steam bath, a solarium, an infrared cabin, waterfall showers, and a large relaxation room.
The Achentalerhof serves traditional Austrian cuisine and international specialties. Most products come from local farms.
Half-board includes a rich breakfast buffet with organic products, afternoon snacks, and a 4-course dinner with a large salad buffet and a choice of 3 main courses. Barbecue and fondue evenings are hosted regularly, and there is a weekly gala dinners with music. There are 2 weekly wine tastings in the vinotheque.

Review 1：Hotel Achentalerhof is amazing. This was our second stay and we were again impressed. The location is great - a scenic 1.5 hour drive from Munich, beautiful scenery, access to very good hiking trails and set in a peaceful Austrian village. The food is some of the best ever and the swimming pool and spa area is top notch. I can think of no better place to unwind.
