Reviews for Hotel Rhein-Residenz
Review 1:Balcony was tiny, barely room for a chair; room was stuffy; shower was tiny; it was hot so I had the window open. The staff at least on the weekend didn't speak any English. I tried to go for breakfast and there were no tables, so I never ate there. Breakfast didn't start till 8am, another reason I couldn't eat there. Rather old and run down. Room was noisy from the restaurant below and the boats and creaking dock.
Review 2:If you want to be on the riverfront, this is a good location, many of the rooms overlooked the Rhein and the riverfront.
Review 3:1. The sleeping and bathroom temperature was a bit toooooo cold and chilly! brrrrrrr :-( 2. No tea water cooker in the room :-((
Review 4:The location is absolutely brilliant! Amazing river rhine view! Fresh & happy eggs for breakfast :-)

Review 7:We arrived at the Hotel Rhein Residenz with the hope that we hadselected a very nice Hotel for are seven day holiday there. This was tobe a very big mistake for the following reasons. The room we were givenwas No6, a double room on the first floor overlooking the river Rhein. The room looked very tired for the class of Hotel and the bed mattresseswere well over there time for renewal. As they were flat on the edge, owing to sitting on them over time. The veranda had a space for only onechair and small table. And a wall blocked out half of our vision of theRhein from the veranda. We then received are biggest shock when we wentinto the bath room. The floor space was four ceramic tiles by foursquare, giving you about 40''by40''. In this space there was fitted thetoilet and wash stand. The door to the bathroom also opened into thisspace. There was a shower with its own area in the same room, but wasquite difficult to get into and even harder to dry yourself after yourshower in the small area you had.The light in the bathroom consisted ofone small low wattage bulb fitted into a bathroom mirror light makingthe room dark and dismal. The breakfast room was very nice and there was a good continental breakfast to be had. But the Hotel staff only spoke German with very little English. It was lucky I spoke German or we would have been quite isolated. We paid for parking space for the seven day period. Only to find that a market had taken over the whole road and car parking area for a period of four days. This road is approximately 14Ft wide and the only entrance to and from the Hotel, which was completely blocked by the stalls and people. No information was given to us about this event, but the Hotel was still glad to take are parking fee knowing that the car would be trapped and could not be used. This was no use to us. As the reason we go by car from England, is to use it on are holiday to visit other places in the area.
Review 8:The Breakfast was very good
