Review 1：Expensive for facilities offered but this is concurrent with all the other hotels/hostels in the same area. Shared bathroom is a nuisance but was never inconvenient.

Review 2：Very friendly staff and convenient location for whale watching trips. Rooms were basic but well heated and clean. Breakfast was cooked to order.

Review 4：The Ad from Booking.com marked down with pic that we can sit on the back gallery seeing the St.Laurence River maybe whales. I was disappointed when I first arrived realized it was not tue afterward I was OK.

Review 11：The location and scenery in Tadoussac were wonderful. The hospitality and friendliness of our host Sylvain were delightful- wonderful personal interaction in French & English and he gave us great recommendations for restaurants and sites to see. We would be delighted to return.

Review 17：The curtain on the window did not block out enough of the morning light. It may be the colour the chose, which was a light cream colour. I had trouble sleeping in, and the curtain didn't block enough light, so at 5am it was bright in the room. The wifi didn't work on the first night, but was fine the second night.

Review 18：The hostess was lovely to deal with. There was a little issue with the breakfast not being included in the price. However she quickly clarified the issue. The interior decor was lovely, and the fruit served for breakfast so ripe and tasty!

Review 23：We were a group of 6 and spent 1 night at the Gite du Goeland in August. We enjoyed our stay and the delicious breakfast the next morning. Lilas was charming and helpful, giving us advice about the whale watching cruises and nearby restaurants. Great view of the river.

Review 24：You have to add 8 CAD for the breakfast. Room accessible from the livingroom, and you have to pass in front of the kitchen to go the bathroom, and in front of everybody having breakfast in the morning. No tv.

Review 26：The only downside of Gite du Goeland is that technical maintenance of some things seems to be lacking or behind of schedule. The shared bathrooms were a bit old and quirky, the water wasn't always warm, and the shared bathrooms could not be locked. Generally, some things felt as if they might break soon. But after all, this did not weigh up to the kind and friendly atmosphere of the gite and of Tadoussac in general.

Review 27：Super friendly staff, we felt really welcome. The host really sat down with us to tell us about everything we could do and see in Tadoussac, despite that we were going to stay for only one night. The restaurant recommendations were very helpful, too. The Gite itself is just sweet and cozy, both the common living room (comfy chairs!) and kitchen, as well as our bedroom. The breakfast we got was very nice and personal, sitting in the kitchen and enjoying the fresh fruits, fresh bread, and freshly baked pancakes with maple syrup was a true delight.

Review 28：The gite is not exactly at less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, it is more between 5 and 10 minutes walk. The lounge in the evening can only be accessed until 10pm. The rooms are not very well isolated so you can hear the other guests. For us it was ok as we had ear plugs. One of the showers was broken but the other one was great, so as there were 2 it was not a problem.

Review 29：We enjoyed the view over the harbour, the delicious breakfast, the nice lounge in the evening, and the bed was very comfortable. There is also possibility to do a massage which is great after a long day travelling. We also had some tips from the owner to know where to eat and what activities we could do.
