Opened in September 2014, the wellnessHostel4000 is located in the centre of Saas-Fee and offers an indoor pool with a water slide and a children's pool, a gym, and a wellness area with a sauna, hot tub and steam bath. Free WiFi is available and guests have free access to the indoor pool.
The hostel features spacious community areas. Most of the modern and bright rooms come with a private bathroom, and multi-bed rooms with shared bathroom facilities.
Breakfast is offered every morning, and the bistro4000 offers tapas dishes. Guests can relax in the lounge, which features a fireplace and a room with billiard facilities. Packed lunches can be arranged on request and a massage service can be organised for a surcharge.
Further on-site amenities include a beauty and a massage parlour. Guests can choose from a variety of treatments.
The closest cable car station is just a 5-minute walk away, and a bus stop is 150 feet from the wellnessHostel4000.

Review 1：Breakfast a bit limited but fine. Beds a little bit uncomfortable for some reason I can't put my finger on. Might just be me.

Review 2：Amazing views, amazing swimming pool, really fun 'dorm' experience for the children (we had a family room with 6 bunks, they loved it). The dinner is good value too

Review 3：Beds were a bit hard. Elevator stopped arriving at our floor so had to take it up one floor higher and walk down. One should have access to pool and spa at reduced rates on the day of checkout until 5pm rather than 1pm

Review 5：Shame the bedroom was so basic - a little extra would have made the sleeping accommodation the same level as the spa. Would be good to have a store on the window to keep out the noise and the lights

Review 7：We came as a big group of friends Swiss & international in their late twenties up til mid, late thirties. Its a very functional, convenient and affordable place that together with the Spa access has even a luxurious component. Staff is very friendly and helpful and speaks several langauges. We had some drinks after midnight in the lobby and were certainly not extremely quiet, but this seemed not to disturb any of the other guests, so I reckon the noise does not carry upstairs. Very helpful staff, all in all a super great experience - all wanted to stay longer!

Review 8：The older and more experienced staff were much kinder and helpful. The younger staff at the front desk seemed quite pretentious and did not seem open to helping me in my travel related questions and request.

Review 12：- Even if we thinks the price is good, we were quite disappointed to understand that the price was only for Youth Hostel Member Card Holder.. and because we were not, 6 CHF of additional fee per persons was required. I am pretty sure this 6 chf (10% from the price per person) additional fee were not stipulated before I got the booking confirmation. Even if the amount is small, I personaly thinks such method are not correct.

Review 13：- The wellness are is very pleasant - The brand new room was very nice (color full) and clean - The slopes are at small walking distance

Review 14：The pricing system for the wellness area is unnecessarily confusing. We were also told when we paid for 2 days of wellness that we would be able to go both Saturday and Sunday (we were checking out Sunday). Only to be told at Checkout that the wellness is only valid from Check-in to Check-out. Would have been nice to have been told that when we paid expecting to be able to go Sunday afternoon.

Review 15：The wellness area is great to have after a day skiing. The hostel is located immediately next to the bus station and a short walk to the AlpenExpress. It's very nice for a hostel.
