Reviews for Hotel Moon

Review 1:No elevator - staff even helped to take my luggage upstairs, but just be cautious of not making your luggage too heavy!

Review 2:A lovely Korean-owned hotel. Room was cozy, clean, and well organized. Staffs are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with good variety. Great location, easy access to public transportation (<10 min bus to Altstadt or dusseldorf HBF, or <20-min walk to Rheintrum)... Definitely worth the money and added value to my trip.

Review 3:-nothing

Review 4:-very friendly staff - the hotel accepted last-minute changes and was extremely flexible - good value for a very affordable price -nice and clean rooms -good breakfast -central location -very quiet place (unfortunately we had an uncivilized neighbor who shouted at 530 in the morning , but that is not the hotel's fault)

Review 5:The entrance to the carpark is scarily narrow. It's only 15-20cms wider than the car. It's not impossible but it's quite difficult getting the car in and out. The wi-fi has changed since my last visit to require an annoying secondary log-on. However, once connected it was fast and stable.

Review 6:I like this hotel, this was my 4th or 5th visit. The hotel is in a good location, 15mins walk from the bars of the Altstadt (and the shops on Königsallee) and also close to the Arcaden shopping centre. The free parking is small but adequate, wi-fi worked well and the buffet breakfast was lovely. The staff are very friendly with good English and the room was spotlessly clean. I am likely to stay here again.

Review 7:The beds were clean but a bit warm and therefore not so comfortable as we had hoped.

Review 8:Lovely breakfast and very friendly staff. A very quiet hotel where you feel comfortable right away. Also we could park the car behind the hotel and walk into the old city center.

Review 9:The turn into the hotel parking lot from the street is a sharp 90 degrees, and the entryway is rather unforgiving. Fold in your mirrors and/or have a passenger guide you in, especially if you have a larger or wider car. Wifi access is a few more steps than usual, but once you're online, it's all good.

Review 10:My room was spotless, and everything from the towels to the bedding smelled fresh and clean. Quiet accommodation, good parking lot.

Review 11:Clean and comfortable. Good location 1 mins on tram to centre with bars. Good access to Rhine walk. Wifi was free but had to keep loggin In every 20mins. Good value for money. Me and my brother shared a room for weekend break, small but clean. Would Definately stay again

Review 12:Budget accomodation for travellers without much expectation. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Beds are not very comfortable though and late in the evening wifi was hardly working

Review 13:The process to get free internet access is a bit complicated and take time. This could be arranged much easier.

Review 14:I staid only one night but I will definetly come back if I come back to Dusseldorf. The staff is nice and friendly, there was no problem with parking, the breakfast is excelent.

Review 15:Mainly bathroom prevents better rating: very very small, not conveniently organised, shower head in a bad state, couldn't manage not to splash water everywhere....

Review 16:- Very friendly staff - Not right in the center, quiet, but only 15 minutes walking, and a direct tram around the corner if you don't want to walk - Free parking facility (you have to book in advance) - Nice breakfast

Review 17:Private car parking, welcoming and helpful staff, very clean throughout, quiet bedroom and just a 20 minute walk straight down the road to the old town and Christmas markets. There's also a lovely Italian restaurant 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good and overall I was very pleased with my choice of hotel. I stayed here for 2 nights.

Review 18:The chairs in the room made me (and others) back pain.

Review 19:The hotel was very quite, connection trouble to internet was fixed quickly with no internet problems later, location near to my destination, good breakfast, and most of all - Very thoughtful staff!!!

Review 20:Friendly, helpful staff; clean comfortable room; very good breakfast and good location - a short walk from main sights but in a quiet area. Great value for money.

Review 21:Very small rooms with the bed situated to window. Better pay extra in order to get double bed room.

Review 22:Center of the town, but very quite place-no noice from outside. Free parking.

Review 23:The only thing could be improved is the water flow in the shower as it was rather weak.

Review 24:The hotel is in a great location, very clean and the staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast was also good for a small hotel.

Review 25:No lift, but I was only on the second floor.

Review 26:The hotel was close to the train and easy to find. The staff were very friendly. WiFi required registration with German hot spot, but it was easy to set up.

Review 27:Location, Ideal for me for work and so peaceful. Always extremely clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly at all times. Wifi access is very good and breakfast especially the fruit always top quality. Can't fault this hotel.

Review 28:No Problems, nice place and easy check in

Review 29:nothing

Review 30:staff is friendly. bed is comfortable.

Review 31:We were on 3rd floor and there was no lift

Review 32:no, lift, but informed in advance

Review 33:location, a tram station nearby that could reach main station directly

Review 34:Although central quite hard to find!

Review 35:Perfect room layout for twin beds. Very quiet and comfy

Review 36:Very, very nice staff and great service.

Review 37:styling/ambiance

Review 38:Spotless clean Friendly staff

Review 39:Nothing.

Review 40:Very clean and confortable.

Review 41:Minor issues really: No elevator Front desk closes at 23:00

Review 42:Good location, helpful staff, clean Good value for money

Review 43:Very well located, close to old town. Good value for a cheap price. Would recommend.

Review 44:Great hotel. It was my second time here and I will come again.

Review 45:Extremely narrow car entrance that will scratch the car easily. No Lift/elevators. No fridge,

Review 46:Clean Clean Clean Quite - a good night sleep

Review 47:Very friendly staff in a comfortable hotel within walking distance of beautiful locations in the city!

Review 48:Room very small and simple. Only the minimum.

Review 49:Location is good, 10 minutes only from old city. Price is fair and private parking is a good point.

Review 50:Breakfast and service was excellent. The hotel also had a nice, quite and relaxing japanese feeling and atmosphere.

Review 51:being surprised by this neat hotel

Review 52:On the 1st day after harvesting lost mp3 player. Following days the same cleaner cleaned the rooms.

Review 53:The room is very little.

Review 54:Clean, confortable beds.

Review 55:Attention to customer's needs reflected in details in decoration, overall quietness and convenience.

Review 56:lovely room and very clean, also not far from the old town and the staff were lovely, thanks!

Review 57:Clean rooms, free wifi, great value

Review 58:I forgot my electric travel adapters and when I asked the front desk clerk about a place to go buy one she said she could loan me one. Very friendly staff, very accommodating hotel. Small property, perfect for solo travelers or small groups.

Review 59:For me no problem, but there is no elevator.

Review 60:Free parking, very friendly and helpfull staff, free WiFi, free bottle of water in the room, hotel looked clean.

Review 61:It is a lovely, small hotel with nice staff and very well-maintained. We bought the 7 Euro breakfast and it was superior--quite extensive for a small boutique-type place. They arranged for a taxi to return to airport.

Review 62:Eye for details that make a difference: bottle of water waiting in the room, sweets at reception, fruit "to go" next to the door when you leave the breakfast area. There is enough for breakfast, also if you come to it late, you just might need ask for more of something, or if you don't want to ask, wait a little for them to refill. Great receptionist.

Review 63:No access to boiler or kitchen accessories after breakfast hours, if you want to make your own tea in the evening that would be very practical. Seems like I was not able to us room phone to reach reception but I could always go down and reach personally of course. Toothpaste was not included. Shoe horn would also be good to have.

Review 64:Breakfast. Music in breakfast room. Individual approach. Overall good impression.

Review 65:There is no lift in the hotel.

Review 66:The breakfast was very good. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The hotel is clean and on a good location. I had a nice stay there.

Review 67:No socket for charging the phone nearby both beds.

Review 68:Neat, clean room with good beds and covers. a 20 minute walk to the centre of the town (Altstadt). Free parking space behind the building (has to be reserved before coming to the hotel). Pleasant staff. We didn't chose for breakfast so don't know about that. Nice and affordable place for a citytrip.

Review 69:Rooms are small. Facility does not have elevator or lift, so keep it in mind if you have a lot of luggage.

Review 70:The staff was polite and forthcoming, the breakfast was totally ok and the location is excellent - near the center and with excellent connection to Messe. All is very clean.

Review 71:Perfect place for travellers who would like to economise on accomodation, but get reasonable quality. Rooms are rather small, but have all needed facilities. Free parking is great, taking in account that in all other places in city you should pay for parking. Wonderful correspondance between price and quality.

Review 72:The entrance to the parking remains VERY narrow and the parking area itself is cramped and hard to manoevre. Other than that minor criticism I really like this hotel.

Review 73:My third stay at this hotel and I remain satisfied with the hotel's facilities and location. The WLAN is fast, free and stable and the free parking, although small, is a bonus. Breakfast was a nice buffet style and the staff are friendly with good English. I can recommend this hotel and am likely to stay here again since it represents excellent value for money.

Review 74:It was really good. The room was clean (and not that little as i can read in other comments) and very quiet. It's a good location just near the city center. The staff was nice. And I still have to apologize to the young lady at the reception. I was tired and I didn't realize at first that she was speaking English with me. If I have to go back to Düsseldorf, i would definitely go there.

Review 75:Breakfast could start earlier, starts at 7:30. No elevator, only a problem if you have heavy luggage.

Review 76:Room small but satisfactory, clean, good wi-fi, breakfast nice.

Review 77:The parking entrance remains scarily narrow! Once inside there'sspace for 5-6 cars but it's tight to manoeuvre, etc. However,it's free and feels safe. Breakfast was once again very nice but notreally worth the extra €7. However, even with this cost this hotelremains excellent value for money.

Review 78:My 2nd stay at this hotel - I like it! Nice sized, clean and bright roomwith a shower and a bath. Excellent fast, stable and free wi-fi andfriendly staff with good English. Perfectly located for shops and barsin the Altstadt and near to the Arcaden shopping centre too. I'dlike to stay at this hotel again.

Review 79:The stairs was noisy and narrow !

Review 80:I liked Staff behavior they were so warm and polite . the location was great! there is no need to use public transfer just by walking you can visit most of attractions. and also the price was so valuable.

Review 81:The TV reception was almost non-existent.

Review 82:Room was spotlessly clean and included a bathtub. I paid €70 for two nights, which is very reasonable for the facilities, especially as it included free parking and wi-fi. Room backed onto car park which is tucked away behind blocks of flats, meaning it was amazingly quiet for a city centre location.

Review 83:It is in a commercial district, and I felt a bit unsettled taking a walk after the shops had closed. Some people might not like the sound of traffic outside in the morning.

Review 84:Very, very, clean. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. walking distance from everything I wanted to see. Would definitely stay here again. It is a nice hotel.

Review 85:The (free) breakfast wasn't that great, there wasn't enough food for everybody, but maybe this was one time issue.

Review 86:The staff was very nice and helpful, and checked us at midnight after our flight was delayed. The hotel is very close to S-Bahn (train station) with direct link to the airport and pretty close to the old city.

Review 87:I noticed one guest had to ask to borrow a hair dryer, as I don't use one, I didn't notice there was not one in the room anyway.

Review 88:For Dusseldorf, the room I had was extremely quiet which was fantastic. Had a bath as well as up and over shower which is unusual for a 3* in the city which was a plus. Room was very comfortable and made for a relaxing stay. The staff were very efficient, constantly ensuring freshly sliced fruit, cereals, juices etc were topped up at breakfast. Location good for the 708 tram to media hafen and the station. Arcadian shopping centre not too far away. On the whole, very clean, welcoming, relaxing - ideal for business trips or a city visit for people who don't want to go for 4*

Review 89:Caffee tastes bad... No lift.

Review 90:A budget hotel, basic furnished, and china-deco.rooms and bathrooms areclean. Mid of May the heating was working properly, when I turned it on.Breakfast is really ok for the prise, fresh fruits (with mango, andananas) and ham. All together, I find this hotel a good budget solution.

Review 91:When booking you have to clear if you want to have ONE or two beds, we did but when we arrived we had two single beds in the room but They moved us to another room since we specified it in our booking. Also They have a really small parking area so you need to make a reservation for space.

Review 92:Just 15 min. Walking from königsallee and 25 min. aprox from the City center. The room was small but you don't need more. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good enough with eggs, ham, cheese, fruit and yogurt.

Review 93:The entrance to the carpark is very narrow! Think driving onto theEurostar and then subtract a few inches. It's quite difficult toline the car up when turning off the busy road (but not impossible). Theparking area itself is quite small (5-6 places) and hard to manoeuvrebut I found a place ok and it won't put me off staying at this hotelagain. Breakfast wasn't included and costs an extra €7. It probablywasn't quite worth that but given the cheap price of the room (andthe free parking) I was very happy with this hotel.

Review 94:A nice little hotel in the south of the city. Only a 15-20min walk fromthe shops of Königsallee and the bars of the Altstadt. Also nearby isthe "Arcaden" shopping centre. Breakfast costs extra and is abuffet style, although some things had run out towards the end. Mysingle room was small but very nice. Parking is very cramped but was ok.The Wi-Fi was fast, stable and free. *Very* friendly staff, all withexcellent English. I am very likely to stay at this hotel again.

Review 95:There is no reception service and you're forced to keep always withyou the key of the room with the risk of losing it, there is no safe andfridge. Breakfast is very normal

Review 96:Staff friendly, clean and large room, good location

Review 97:Our room was very cold when we arrived. A nice added touch would have been to turn our heater on the day of the arrival. We could hear footsteps of other guests during the night.

Review 98:The breakfast was good quality continental, with a small selection of quality meats and trays of eggs and bacon. The breakfast room was very pleasant.

Review 99:In a room the door in bathroom was partially broken.

Review 100:Everything was fine; I liked a breakfast room and parking. It looks pretty!

Review 101:Very friendly staff and a pretty good breakfast spread.

Review 102:Location is so-so. Very bad internet connection

Review 103:Clean and friendly. Great breakfast

Review 104:some ladybugs.. no lift

Review 105:clean room, location is not so bad. near by shopping street&media hapen

Review 106:- Location looks closer on the map - There is no elevator - We had no blackout curtains

Review 107:- Friendly staff - Really clean hotel

Review 108:Very friendly and helpful staff, good price, comfortable rooms, very convenient location - Hotel is closed to the center! I loved this Hotel!!!

Review 109:Small rooms and bathrooms. Cold in the room.

Review 110:The host was kind but she didn't speak English very much. Clean room.

Review 111:nothing really

Review 112:Friendly accommodating staff, clean and simple, parking and good value for money

Review 113:middle of nowhere; no real transport unless you take taxi, or walk in real long long stretches. Wifi doesn't work

Review 114:The wall was thin and it was a little bit noisy.

Review 115:- Poor breakfast

Review 116:- Free autopark - Clean rooms

Review 117:small but nice room. internet is working great and free. private parking is also available. 15 min walk to altstad district.

Review 118:No elevator

Review 119:Location near train station

Review 120:Nice staff, easy and not complicated.

Review 121:The floor is very noisy.

Review 122:Location. Wi-fi.
