Review 1：Wonderful people that made us feel special. Great information on what to do in the area. We ate at the restaurant 3 times in our very short stay. We enjoyed every minute of our visit to Tafoussac and the Hotel Beluga was a fantastic homey home base.

Review 2：Not much space to put your stuff in the bathroom, especially for a family.

Review 3：Got a double room with two double beds; the room was split into two parts, which was great for more privacy. The room was very quiet.

Review 4：Too hot in the room, we had to open the window for air, the fan was noisy and our room faced the busy road from the ferry, it was loud with trucks coming and going all evening.

Review 8：There has been a problem with the hotel and Booking.com. The advertising let us believe that breakfast was included. Both the hotel and booking.com admitted it but rejected the falt on each other. But not breakfast was offered as initially written on the advertising. Very unsatisfactory to remain polite.

Review 12：The young man at the reception said he had no idea what activities to recommend (c). When people at adjoining rooms are taking shower,there isn't enough hot water. Make sure you shower when your neighbours aren't doing the same.

And the waitress -who subsequently warmed up- greeted us with annoyance because we were standing at the door... there was a sign indicating that we had to wait to be seated...

Review 29：The location was good but then again, Tadoussac is so small that it's hard for a location not to be good. The room was clean. The lady that greeted us at the reception was very nice.

A little rude when I would speak to him in English, I also know French, and even though I would switch, I was surprised that he would cut me off when I would try to explain something instead in English and when I simply corrected him, I thought it was alright to do so, guess not. I am perfectly bilingual, but a piece of advice for this hotel or any hotel, remember that tourists come from all over the world, and so I believe anyone working for any hotel business should be perfectly bilingual, especially anywhere in Quebec and/or Canada. Review 31：I liked the location and the bed was comfortable.

Review 32：The noise from the highway kept us awake most of the night. If we closed the sliding glass door, it was very hot in the room and they did not provide fans.

Review 41：The beluga hotel was the best hotel we had for our whole trip in Charlevoix! The bed was extremely comfortable (felt like sleeping on a cloud) and the double bed room was infact two bed rooms separated by the bath room. That is a clever configuration! Everything was very clean and we even had a balcony. (Room 250 ;0) )Breakfast buffet was very diversified ( pancakes, fruit, real waffle, eggs, bacon, etc.)

Review 42：Beds were too soft for our liking and were positioned on spindly legs. Everytime my wife or I turned over the bed would jiggle and wake the other. There was no counter in the bathroom which made washing up with own items inconvenient. Breakfast was not worth the money.

Review 97：Hotel comfortable and cozy. Rooms well decorated and great side view to the bay. Staff very friendly and gave good tipos in how to explore the area. Location is great, close to a great bakery, restaurants, a small grocery store and the turist information center. Bed very comfortable. Microwave avaliable on the first floor was very nice.

Breakfasts and evening meal were very good quality and value. This was a really good stay, we would definitly stay at Le Beluga again.

Review 104：The sounds between the rooms was not great. The walls are very thin as were the doors, so even though the neighbours were not loud, we heard them as they moved about the room and chatted.

Review 105：Loved the location and the staff were great. The clerk who checked us in moved us to a second story room in the main building. The room was actually 2 seperate bedrooms with a bathroom in between which was unique. One room had a balcony and that was a nice touch.

Review 112：1) Close to highway - didn't bother everyone but one of our travellers thought it was a bit loud 2) Should think of putting notes in bathrooms advising that if guests need towels changed they should leave them on the floor... otherwise we can simply use our towels the next day. All hotels work this way now and Beluga should think of doing same to remain eco friendly and keep up with the times.

Review 113：1) Room smelled neutral - often hotels will have a musty smell to corridors and rooms... we opened our door and smelled nothiing which we were very happy about - shows the room is well cleaned and aired out. 2) Liked having the large patio door on the second floor that we could keep open all night for fresh air yet still feel safe 3) Enjoyed having the restaurant close by - breakfast for $8 if you stay at the hotel - good deal. Nice deck. Overall a well maintained hotel

Review 121：Small room for 4 people, very noisy and badly conditioned -unbearably hot in the summer. They made us pay in advance before even seeing the room. Although booking page says so, the room hasn't got a fridge. WIFI doesn't work properly. Breakfast is not very good and it is quite expensive -they don't have special breakfast rate for kids. Review 123：The Hotel is definitely more a motel with very basic facilities. The biggest problem is the location as it is right on the main road into Tadoussac which has very heavy traffic all day and night. There is no air conditioning in the rooms and it is impossible to open the windows for fresh air at night due to the noise of the traffic right outside. Decor is tired and dull and in general all areas are in need of upgrading.

The linens were wonderful and the beds were very comfortable. We were concerned because the hotel does not have air conditioning but the nights were very cool and we never needed air conditioning. We had breakfast included with our stay and the restaurant provided delicious breakfast choices. Highly recommend and plan to return!

Menus were available inFrench only (in a tourist town!), steaks were undercooked (my pregnantwife asked for well-done and it was rare at best) and food was blandoverall. When we communicated this to the restaurant staff, they didtheir best to ignore us and made no efforts to correct anything. Wouldnever eat here again.
