Hotel Sonnalm sells fast on our site. Surrounded by a 3,000 m² garden in the centre of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Hotel Sonnalm is 350 feet from 2 ski lifts. It offers a large spa area and a heated outdoor pool available all year and free WiFi. St. Kathrein Thermal Spa is 500 feet away.
Furnished in a traditional Austrian style, the rooms in the Sonnalm Hotel have a balcony, satellite TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer.
2 saunas, a steam bath and a hot tub are available in the spa area. Massages and beauty treatments can be booked as well. The garden includes a barefoot trail. Guests can also relax in the library, in front of the fireplace in the lobby, and in the bar.
Carinthian specialities and international cuisine are served in the restaurant which features a winter garden. Half-board comprises a rich breakfast buffet, light snacks and cakes in the afternoon, and a 4-course dinner with salad and cheese buffets. Guests can choose from 3 main courses, including a fish dish.
From mid-April to late October, the Kärnten Card is included in the rate and entitles to free admissions and discounts at local attractions.
From 9 January to 4 March 2016, a 6-day ski pass for a child up to 12 years old is available directly at the hotel for EUR 6 if at least one accompanying adult buys a 6-day ski pass for the Bad Kleinkirchheim - St. Oswald Ski Area.
From 5 March to 28 March 2016 a free ski pass and a 50% discount on the admission fee for the thermal bath are included in the rate.

Review 1：The Breakfast choice was little bit limited for vegans (myself), i would appreciate some good plant-based bread-spreads on the menu.

Review 2：Great relaxation facilities (swimming pool, whirlpools and saunas), rooms were very clean and staff was nice.

Review 3：The hotel is well situated in between both ski areas (Bad and Oswald) so you can walk to any of the regions ski lifts. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious. Spa with the outdoor pool in the basement is excellent a swell as gourmet dining in the evening.

Review 4：Although free WiFi has been provided, I have experienced some regular difficuties using it (reconnecting several times while using it, speed is not so fast). Carpet in the room should be changed. A swimming pool and saunas are not operating during the day (what if visitors stay in a hotel during the day and would like to go to welness).

Review 5：Location of the hotel is very good. Very close to the slopes (no need to drive by a car). Hotel staff is very friendly. The hotel is well managed and has its character of local region. Room was specious and confortable. Quality of food is on a hight standard (half board is reccommended). Welness with the pool is fantastic as well. Even massage is not so expensive as in other hotels of that category.

Review 6：Sometimes we have to wait too long to get our dinner, even when there were not too many quests at the restaurant. I didn't expect they will charge for "tap" water -I saw this on the bill when we wanted to check out last day. This is surely not a big problem (this "item" is really a minor sum comparing to total costs -in high season in Austria accommodation is a bit pricey in all hotels) but it would have been good if they had informed us (when we ordered it first time) that tap water has to be paid. Anyway this cannot change our general opinion: we had nice time here and we would like to come back next winter.

Review 7：We really enjoyed and stayed one day longer than planned -so, we had 10 nice days. Very good location near the 2 ski-lifts (2 minutes from the hotel), nice facilities, mostly kind and friendly staff -I need to say that Mrs Suzi is very kind and helpful. Enough place on parking by the hotel and also quite enough room for the storage of the ski equipment. Very good food, maybe not excellent but quite good enough.

Review 8：for short stay booked lastminute, price was ok, but comparred to other marvelous 4-star hotels in which I stayed, I think the price is on some reasonable top.

Review 9：After skiing in the cold day, what could you enjoy more than warm refreshment soup at the lobby just after your arrival from the slopes, warm and comfortable rooms with nice balkony, and wonderfull wellness (with two types of sauna, jacusi and evening swimm in the warm multicoloured outdoor pool)?! Maybe just the dinner which was tastefull and prepared with care and creativity!

Review 11：We liked the hotel from the first glance and this impression kept strengthening throughout our one-week stay. It is situated in a quite scenic place, our room was generous and charming in décor, the grounds and facilities are felt to be well managed. The personnel is indeed extremely friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend to take half-board as both breakfasts and evening meals were excellent and will remain as bright spots in our memory. The particular thing we liked about the hotel is that it has its character, one feels the warmth and traditions of the house.

Review 13：In Sonalm we found warm and friendly welcome, beautiful, very cosy designe everywhere, spatious and comfortable room with balcony with veiw on the mountains, wide bibliothec, open pool with nice rest area arroud, relaxing exellent spa, very warm and friendly stuff. It was great to put in the room the basket with all equipment for the spa you can take it with. We had halfboard in in the gurme restaurant, with very delicious various healthy food. I had a problem with my diet, and great thanks to chef and stuff, that esolved it in the best manner. Adorable nature of Badkleinekirchen and the area arround added a lot. Sonalm was exellent choice for us, and certainly, I would recommend it.

Review 14：The parking place is not too big and if the entire hotel is full it is a little difficult.

Review 15：The location is great and special for the winter season. The food was amazing. The place is very quiet during the day and also during the night.

Review 16：Of we really have to mention a negative point: the sunlight comes through the curtains of the bedroom and wakes you. But is that a negative point? A wake up call by the sun? :)

Review 17：We had a very warm and personal welcome. And a totally new refurnished hotelroom (106). It was very clean and spacious with a mountain view. We had half board and we can definitly recommend it: the food is delicious and of high quality. The tourist card is included. We used it for several attractions. The staff is very friendly. We had a perfect stay and we would certainly recommend it.

Review 25：They closed The pool and the Spa at 19:00 ! Usually we like to go to Spaand swimming even afther the dinner. It would be nice if the Spa anndthe Pool could be open till 11 P.M. (23:00)!

Review 26：We liked everithing. Ski resorts are in a few meters, Spa is excellent,in the outside pool we raced with my 10-years soon, .... ! The food iswas also excellent ! We will be back for shure !
