Review 1：bad smell coming from the drain of the shower

Review 2：helpful staff, everything well organized, wide and nice and bright room for breakfast, there were few walls and mostly windows all around .good position to the center.

Review 3：It is not a place for solo traveller,. this hostel was full completely with German families. There was nowhere comfortable to sit as all the chairs were hard plastic ones and if you are over 27 years old you had to pay for the wifi which wasn't great strength and only available in the lobby area.

Review 5：This hostel is a good location to visit Dusseldorf centre. You can walk or you can take public transportation. The room itself was clean and good. Breakfast was good and a lot of choice. Bring you own towels because there isn't any. Wi-Fi isn't free if you are older then 27

Review 6：Excellent staff, really looked after me. Very helpful in all circumstances, and always willing to oblige. Excellent English speakers which I appreciate as a non German speaker. Relatively good location, close to metro station which takes you to the Old Town (2 stops) or the central train station (otherwise 10 euros). Would definitely return - thank you

Review 7：There was noise everywhere. There's hardly a comfortable or cosy place to sit, let alone where it's quiet. The rooms are just by the street and probably because everything is concrete the sound seems amplified inside the room.

Review 8：It's nicely situated along the riverside, unfortunately on the wrong side of the river. Still, it's easy enough to get to the city center.

Review 27：in 1 room there are 4 beds. But I wanted to charge my phone nearby me and plugs were so far away or even hidden. Since 4 people share the room, this kind of convenience should be offered. Resturante closed at 8pm which is too early. I had to stay there 1 night because of work and when I arrived, it was rainny and cold a lot with wind, and was at 7.30pm. I was wet and cold so, after shower, I asked how can I have a dinner inside but it was 10 mins left!! So I had to go out but I was so tired so, I decided to eat a beer and a pizza in the bar as their suggestion. But the pizza was horrible. It was a frozen pizza and i could make better than this actually.

Review 28：Warm welcoming and everything was there. I forgot to bring a towl but they offered me with small amount of charge. Room was no problem. comfort and quite and bath room and shower were clean. Breakfast is normal.

Review 30：Great staff, always friendly - no different to a four star hotel. Breakfast was excellent, everything from cold cuts to fruits and great coffee. Hotel has its own underground parking and is five minutes of safe walk to underground through nice Dusseldorf neighborhood.

Review 31：No towels in dorms. Had to change dorms because of the hostel booking issues though there was one empty bed in the first dorm and two - in the second. In the dorm facing the river it was uncomfortable to sleep because of the constant drafts.

Review 41：Check in was 3pm and I arrived at 330pm and my room wasn't ready. I waited another 20 minutes and with the help of front staff, my room was finally ready shortly before 4pm. The location is over the river from the old town and is a short walk from public transportation. Not a big deal, but I typically like to stay in more centrally located places. If you are leisurely checking out Dusseldorf, then it is fine. This hostel is much better (overall) than a guesthouse I stayed in right on the border of the KO and the train station area and I would have stayed here again had I known this beforehand, so the location isn't horrible by any means and the overall facilities/staff were great.

Review 42：The staff were extremely nice and helfpul. The breakfast was a mix of cereal, bread, jam, butter, yogurts, fruit and hard boiled egg - typical expectations for a hostel. The rooms and facility in general was extremely clean. overall look and feel was what you would expect from a hostel. Quite a large hostel that caters to families as well. There was also a large area to hang out and meet people or get work/research done. Beds were typical hostel beds with a personal lamp. I found it very comfortable and the lockers were sizable.
