Review 1：Free shuttles into village perhaps not regular enough but they did try to accommodate us when they could.
Review 2：Beautiful restaurant and bar area right by the water. Good quality breakfasts. Nice jungle area to the rear to look for wildlife. Staff very attentive and eager to help. Rooms a bit basic, but worth the price.
Review 3：The breakfast was a buffet and not very good, not cooked just for you as the rest of places we stayed in costa rica. There was only wifi in the restaurant and lobby.

Review 11：old rooms, very dated, bathroom old and not the cleanest, was told to put loo paper in an open wicker bin, and not to get makeup or wipe feet with white towels!

Review 13：Expensive food and drinks. While the lodge is close to town if you need a water taxi its expensive to town, $3USD per person each way. Seculded lodge, only acessible by boat. Some staff very unfriendly.
Review 14：Nice pool, clean rooms. Some staff helpful, one pointed out a sloth to us. Delicious food, especially the nighly special entres. Lovely gardens and beautiful property with wildlife from the lodge.
Review 15：I loved everything about this lodge. We stayed for 5 nights. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The free breakfast is outstanding. The front desk staff organized 3 different tours for us: walking tour, birdwatching, and canoe tour. My favorite was the canoe tour; it was just my husband and me and Israel, the tour guide from Tortuguero Adventures. Antonio and Carlos even surprised my husband with a birthday cake for his 60th birthday.
Review 16：Food...my husband hated it. I thought it was OK. The fruit for breakfast had flies over it where the cloths kept flapping up. It perhaps ought to be kept elsewhere. The 'shop' was a stand that sold highly expensive snacks...would have been so easy to have sold a few more things at better prices...$6 for a toothbrush, $2 for a mini pack of pringles!!

Review 20：Tourist-oriented area. La baula may be a nice place but it ´s not worth going there. Wrong side of the river, you will have to pay taxi-boat for everything.
Review 21：Reception closed very early so when we came back from dinner in Tortugero at about 8pm it was closed. We needed a taxi boat to get to the town of Tortugero which was $3.00 each. Rooms were quite old.

Review 32：The staff where amazing. When we arrived there where monkeys playing the tree's. It is located on the other aide of the river and need to take a water taxi to and from the hotel. But it is in a beautiful location. They have a restaurant and bar on sit as well as a pool.
Review 33：We were never told that you could book tours through Labaula. We booked our turtle tour with another group and we were late getting there because we had to wait on a water taxi. As we were waitng we saw several people from the Labaula get on a boat and leave to go on the tour. We were disappointed that we couldn't go with the other people and had to sit around for another boat going to the exact same place.

Review 61：I didn't like the location. You only have access to the hotel itself literally and have to pay $3/pp eachway to get to the main town by water taxi. It depends what you want though. The main town is not as nice as the area where the hotel is and you have much more of a chance of seeing animals near the hotel. I just didn't like being stuck at a hotel. You can walk around the premises and that's it. Our hotel room had a broken drawer and no accessible outlets.
