Review 1：We stayed in a house away from the main hotel building. Probably very nice once, but now the hall in front of the room smelled and some tiles in the bathroom were loose. Same applies to the spa area. Ok but not very new. Oberstdorf Therme is close by and offers a good alternative. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because if included cosmetic treatments. We tried to book some right upon arrival but could only get massages, no cosmetic treatment. To be fair we were there outside of the high season.

Review 2：Really nice and helpful staff. Cards and ideas for hiking. Guest card giving a lot of reductions in the town. Town in very easy reach. Bike rent for free. They are currently renovating a part of the hotel so it will probably be really nice then. Room with nice sunny balcony. Nice breakfast included in room price.

Review 3：Wi-Fi did NOT function in my room on the first floor which was a serious problem for me to conduct business with my customers. Reception tried numerous actions to resolve the issue but without any success. They advised there was a hotspot on every floor yet I could not get connected unless I was on the ground floor. That is not acceptable. They advised they would have the Wi-Fi technicians resolve the problem in my room or that section of the hotel. The very narrow 30 kph streets are a challenge to negotiate when you can't see around corners at intersections. The kitchen warmed the breakfast rolls and bread in the oven each day but it dried them out too much and compromised the taste. I would suggest they discontinue warming the bread and rolls.

Review 4：The Filser is a very nice hotel located in a heavily populated hotel/apartment tourism area. The hotel and rooms are nicely appointed and quite comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They speak excellent English and work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Even with GPS I had difficulty finding the hotel as the Filster also has several apartment buildings near by the hotel and the hotel sign is partially blocked by trees. Breakfast was very good with lots of selections. The half pension meals were good and a nice convenience as it's difficult to find other restaurants around the area unless you know the area. The onsite parking is good but crowded and when people double park where they are not suppose to, it makes it quite difficult to exit the parking lot. The owner of the Filser greeted guests at dinner and made sure to ask if everything was OK. She seemed genuinely concerned with guests enjoying their stay.

Review 5：Wanted a twin room but none available, we were told that is normal in Germany eventually got a pullout sofa made up but unnecessary disruption on first night, awkward when booking groups. The difference in comfort & superior rooms was not worth extra 200eu.

Review 8：A very nice hotel right easy walking distance to the center of oberstdorf. The double room was a good size. The staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Pool a decent size. The view from our balcony was stunning. They even gave us wipes when we checked out to make sure our hands were nice and clean!

Review 30：The bar in this hotel is so tiny only 6/7 people can fit in itcomfortably and when we went in there, nobody was serving behind the barso we left. They allocate breakfast tables to guests so you cannotchoose where you sit but in fact they hadn't allocated a table to us.Also the breakfast room was very overheated and the food was average.

Review 32：Didn't like how far it was to the ski shuttle bus pick up and drop off. I thought it was right in front of the hotel but it was not. May not be such a bad walk for adults, but with kids in ski boots it was tiring and not convenient.
