Review 1：Nobody told us that the gourmet restaurant was closed. The price of our rooms in this period was to high. Normally Okay.

Review 4：Nice set up in traditional German style, pleasant, cozy rooms. Motorcycle-friendly place (scenic alpine-style roads and a garage available for ~10eur) :)

Review 8：The hotel is located in a peaceful area, surrounded by hills and forests. It reminds one of a fairy-tale, with various colorful ornaments, hunting memorabilia and even stuffed toys. The atmosphere is restful (although there was some noise from the restaurant where live German folk music was being played - we arrived on a Friday evening). The staff is very friendly and proud of its hotel. The room was clean and cosy, with an impressive bathroom; the swimming facilities excellent. It's a must-see - because of the decor, it is a tourist attraction in itself.

Review 41：This is a wonderful, comfortable, rural hotel set in the middle of the forests and hills of Sauerland It is remote but that is what we wanted. Good wellness facilities; wifi is available even in the rooms (or parts thereof); excellent breakfast in quality, quantity and choice. Very helpful & polite staff. Our double room was very well presented and equipped (no coffee/tea facility but this was available in the foyer). Very clean and well equipped bathroom with walk in shower.

Review 42：The rooms are outdated, the bathrooms even more. Charm is not the same as old or in the style from 30 ago. Quality is not the same as heavy and dark. The food (and wine) is too expensive.

Review 48：The position is very isolated from any village, and during the night we had a black out and consequently the fire alarm went on ringing in my room for almost 2 hours...the problem was that nobody was available at the reception!!! All night long! So definitively I couldn't sleep at all!

Review 51：There was only one restaurant open due to a new kitchen being built which meant that the menu was very restricted. We had no warning of this beforehand (including the hotel's website) and we had only booked about 2 weeks in advance, the gourmet restaurant being one of the attractions of this hotel.
