Review 1：No complaints, just things to note: the bathroom was quite small (but fine for one person) and only hand wash was provided, no other toiletries (not a problem as I had my own anyway). It is on a main road, but not much traffic late at night and the shutters block out noise. Not all rooms have a terrace/balcony so check when you book. It's a 5-10 minute walk into the village for dinner (not a problem for me but again, something to note). About 20 mins walk to supermarket (note it's a pension so no fridge in room or tea/coffee making facilities). Note there is no lift/elevator only stairs.

Review 2：The owner is extremely friendly, knowledgable about local places and history, and helpful. I spoke German with her, but overheard her speaking to some guests in English too. The room was comfortable & big with lots of storage space (I was 'upgraded' to a double as someone else had also booked a single room at the same time as me). I only had breakfast here once & it was very generous buffet, coffee top-ups, lots of choice. WiFi was very reliable. Location great for hiking in beautiful "Franconian Switzerland" region. The bus stop is a few metres from the door, from here you can easily get to railway stations that link to Bayreuth, Nuremberg, Bamberg, Erlangen etc.

Review 3：no restaurant in the evening. allthough the village is only a short walk away and the hotels an pensions there all have restaurants. it would be nice to eat at the hotel.
