Reviews for Hotel Ferienart Resort & Spa
Review 1:Forced to wait in the car park in 0C temperature for 40 minutes before pick up on arrival - at 8pm. No porters to help carry luggage to the room on arrival. Very poor uninformed staff - frequently told "Do not know" Food should have been fresher for breakfast Absence of hooks in the bathrooms
Review 2:Excellent Spa Good sized rooms Good choice of restaurants
Review 3:I had made a reservation to take the electro to the BusStation and they forgot our reservation. This did not make me very happy
Review 4:Loved the spa and the breakfast.
Review 5:Heating problem - it was cool in the room. Maybe because the hotel was closing the next day for it's annual 3 week closure. Restaurant: breakfast was great, but evening meal at Cesar Ritz was poor value for money (small quantities, not necessary very refined...).
Review 6:Everything was great! Lovely room, spa, etc. Staff were super friendly!
Review 7:-The room has no coffee maker. -The food is so expensive at the hotel or even ouside in the town of Saas-fee but this might be understandable since this is a remote mountainous town and I would assume it's expensive to transport goods to the town. -getting to the hotel is kinda headache since it's located on the mountains and you have to drive about an hour on the mountains.
Review 8:I liked that my room has a view to the mountains. I also liked how friendly the hotel staff is.
Review 9:This time I could clearly see that this hotel is being poorly managed. I had terrible problems with housekeeping staff (they even threw mi medicines in the trash can and denied having done so), the room itself wasn´t clean enough, I had stains all over one chair and some curtains, room service was not efficient neither. I will probably not stay at Ferien Art again. Some of the best staff members were gone, such as Fabio, Ronald, Jeanine and many others.
Review 10:Locations, seeing some of my friends from staff, the spa is quite good etc. Many thanks to Luc, this guy saved my life there on many ocasions.
Review 11:I would in an ideal world like a ski in ski out hotel but it was not a long walk to the slopes and usually a bus comes to collect skiers
Review 12:The staff were really friendly and professional from the moment we arrived. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast great. Spa facilities amazing after a day on the slopes.
Review 13:There was not enough snow :-).... Some of the decor was a bit dubious.... But it doesn't matter because the hotel is really fantastic
Review 14:We arrived and were immediately upgraded to a junior suite! My wife and I were with our 4 month old daughter.... The staff were excellent with her.... From bringing hot water to our room to clean her bottles, to making us feel comfortable in their very lovely reataurant.... And also in the swimming pool area. Breakfast was absolutely lovely. A great stay! Thank you
Review 15:nothing!
Review 16:We were here for the anniversary, and we just had a amazing days in the hotel, the spa is awesome, and must go to the massage! All the staff are really friendly, with big smile, and helpful, the room is perfect, with a nice bath tub! Anyway, strongly suggest this hotel!
Review 17:The pizzeria (le ponte) was a disappointing. The service was slow and the food was well below expectation.this could have been because it was a holiday Saturday bit nevertheless it could have been a lot better if there were more than 2 people serving.sorry guys. Jc
Review 18:Starting with the breakfast. Good, fresh and plentiful. With an optional glass of vin mousseux. Plenty of room and well decorated. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a v comfortable room with a great view- I understand that all of the rooms have one. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home from minute one. It's a big like from us.
Review 19:Nothing.
Review 20:This hotel is, without a shadow of a doubt, the best hotel in Saas-Fee by far. The team is great: many special thanks to all of the team members: Fabio, Ronald, Markus, Jeanine, Alice, Helio, Zippora and so many others. Great memories and we'll surely come back.
Review 21:Bath, washing facilities in bedroom , just plain weird ! No vegetarian food on menu, oriental restaurant closed, Italian offer poor.
Review 22:Spa and sauna Location Friendly staff
Review 23:Several things: 1. Open plan bathroom - this is awful and would stop me coming again. 2. My wife had to return to the car separately to me and had to take all the bags. The staff took my wife to the post office but left her there. there is a 5-10 minute walk to the car park but my wife is petite and there were 5 bags. I think is very bad not to have taken her back to the car with all this luggage. 3. Dog cost: We have a small dog and I would expect a charge. however they charges 25 chf for the dog and then a further 40 chf for the dog. The fact that I cannot find these charges on their website is pretty bad. 4. The food at the Italian was very much below average and very expensive - don't go here....
Review 24:The welcome drink. The swimming pool and spa looked lovely.
Review 25:Fabulous spa and friendly staff make this a very good choice so I will definitely be back!
Review 26:Great hotel , helpful staff , excellent breakfast. Pool area & saunas nice to relax in after a day on the mountain
Review 27:Very cold in the room
Review 28:nothing
Review 29:everything
Review 30:Beautiful Hotel with very friendly stuff, excellent service and amasing restaurant with delicious breakfast buffet! Really a perfect place to stay!
Review 31:- Quite noisy sleeping with street noise even with windows closed
Review 32:- Very friendly - Wi-Fi simple and quick - Nice spa area
Review 33:Ski-bus doesnt work well. Long waiting times for pickup returning to the hotel. Up to 45 min. Noisy and screaming children in Spa...
Review 34:Personnel, always present and helpfull.
Review 35:The pillows were too lumpy. Pull out beds weren't big enough. Staff in san Pedro restaurant were not great particularly annoyed that they wouldn't serve tap water all water was bottled and therefore had to be paid for. We dined outwith the hotel based on this and found all other restaurants happy to serve free tap water.
Review 36:Cakes in the afternoon and complimentary snacks in the bar. The spa and swimming pool. Wide screen tvs and channel coverage.
Review 37:At first sight the hotel looked a bit chaotic and filled up with a lot of stuff, but within few days everything started to make sense and there was actually an artistic design to it -- it is just the local style and eye gets used to it.
Review 38:Very welcoming, helpful and friendly staff; beautiful location, beautiful hotel, great spa area and a huge well-equipped gym. And fantastic breakfast buffet.
Review 39:Bath in middle of bedroom but shower door so small could hardly get in. Insufficient front desk staff so delayed time to get in room on arrival. Noise from swimming pool (including music until 3am!) came up to third floor by a duct in the bathroom. Bad smell in lift from pool?? Nursery staff changing two nappies in the same room as I was trying to eat breakfast. The fact that no one asked me when I was leaving if everything had been ok!
Review 40:Offer of drink on arrival and cakes in afternoon - though tea extra! Cleaning staff and porters v efficient. Breakfast staff very friendly.
Review 41:The staff was not properly trained or at least not at a 5* level. Notowels available after 7pm in the spa and no staff to ask. Boots dryerin the ski room was not working...
Review 42:Apart from the large size of the room, not much.
Review 43:The hotel is very very old fashioned. I got a room (#773) that is veryoutdated and that has not been refurbished for the last 20 years !Ridiculous that this hotel then claims 5 stars. The service in therestaurant is hopelessly slow at night. I had to insist and convince thereception one night to deliver a meal to my room ! On the weekends theyrefuse to take hotel clients to the ski slopes with the ski bus, becausefor some inexplicable reason they only run from Monday to Friday.Needless to say that for a paying customer this is a bit frustrating. Inone week I was a witness of at least 3 unhappy couples making scenes atthe reception ; one couple was shocked at finding such poor 5 starconditions in their room, another couple had booked but found that therewas no room free for them at arrival, another man was yelling for 15minutes... What shocked me most was to see the totally passive attitudeof all staff involved towards complaining customers ! In a modern worldof service mindedness the observed behaviour and attitudes, the poorinvestments made, the poor conditions of the rooms (a time travel backinto the sixties) is a fraud as far as I'm concerned.
Review 44:Spa, massages and sauna were good.
Review 45:Let me first say, this is no 5 star hotel at least by American hotelstandards.1. While we requested adjoining (or at least close) rooms when we booked two rooms, because the two rooms were of different categories (one suite, one regular room) this was not possible. We were not told this until we arrived, and the hotel was sold out so no other rooms were available. Not only were the rooms not close, they were in different buildings with different elevators! Thankfully our children are slightly older (9, 11 & 14) so we thought it would be okay. However our son got sick one night and had to go all the way through the hotel to come get us. Not good!! 2. As mentioned before, the staff was friendly, but often didn't follow through. We requested a car transport once, it didn't come. The safe in our room wouldn't open and it took 4 requests before someone finally came to look at it. We had a sauna in our room that didn't work. On the third request for someone to look at it, they finally came, pushed the button, and then said "Oh well, I guess it doesn't work." They never got a repair person to fix it and my guess is that it had been broken for a long time. 3. Housekeeping sometimes forgot our room. If we had the "Do Not Disturb" sign out when they cam, they often wouldn't come back.
Review 46:The hotel was charming and the staff friendly, though often times whenwe asked at the front desk for something, either they didn't understandus or they ignored our requests and we had to ask again. The food at thebreakfast buffet was delicious and the wait staff extremely friendly andaccommodating. The dinner meals were a little more hit and miss in themain dining room, with dinners often taken several hours which was aproblem with children. Overall though, because of the choice ofrestaurants, I would say the value of the halb board accomodations wasvery good.
Review 47:Lots of noise in the pool area. Some adults only periods would be welcome to relax and swim
Review 48:Good childcare.
Review 49:No privacy on balcony whatsoever.
Review 50:Service and food superb
Review 51:The bed mattress was too hard
Review 52:All was good
Review 53:Very Friendly staff and homelike atmosphere
Review 54:Actually all was good
Review 55:Feels like at home
Review 56:Teh lighting in the room is a puzzle
Review 57:Outstanding wellness
