Reviews for Les Suites de L'Anse

Review 1:The staff were very welcoming and even picked us up at the bus depot. We had a big double room with large bathroom and very clean. It is in a quiet location and we slept soundly. Great continental breakfasts with lots of selections for everyone. Will be going back next year.

Review 2:Leather chair at desk had a missing foot and was no use; Duvet was a bag of old feathers that constantly slipped off the bed; the bed sheets were very old and "picked" at my feet and hands; Wifi did not work in our room which was close to the main house; Cat smell as we entered the downstairs hall.

Review 3:Bathroom in same room cleverly hidden in a cupboard

Review 4:The word 'suite' conjures up different things for different people. The whole layout was strange. The bedroom itself was large and comfortable. However the fitted wardrobe and bathroom was on the floor below! To visit the bathroom, during the night, meant going down 15 steps. We only stayed one night so didn't unpack and didn't need to use the wardrobe which again was on the floor below. There were no less than 3 interconnecting doors to other rooms.

Review 5:The bedroom itself was good. The location, although close to highway, didn't disturb us. The room must be well sound-proofed.

Review 6:B& b without breakfast! We were told after we paid for three nightsthat breakfast was not included. After inquiries we were told that thosewho booked online did not receive breakfast. In the small print of ourreservation it said no meals included. The head of the bed was upagainst a patio door. Pillows fell between the bed and the door. Madefor an uncomfortable sleep.

Review 7:It was very clean. Staff came in everyday and tidied up, leftfresh towels.

Review 8:The hotel is at the main road and not inside the village, but luckily you don't hear the street as the rooms are behind the main building.

Review 9:Tadoussac is a great place and the staff helped us booking tours.

Review 10:Parking was not convenient to the room and the shower was so small I passed and waited till the next night.

Review 11:Kitchen was a nice extra since we had things to put in the fridge and had an early Whale watching tour. We made our own breakfast packed and left.

Review 12:Staff is predominantly French speaking with one woman fluent in English. The hotel is lovely, room was spacious and clean, setting is a delight. Breakfast was good, but there are some restaurants in town if you want bacon and eggs. We would definitely stay here again if returning to this lovely town!!

Review 13:Room was over-priced ($125 for 1 double bed) based on other similar accommodations. $90 would be more reasonable, bathrooms were way too small and movement was limited.

Review 14:Location was good (a short walk across highway into Tadoussac) and the people were friendly.

Review 15:Rooms were cramped. Looks like larger rooms were divided into two rooms at some point. Shower so small it was difficult to pick up dropped soap. Assistant desk person seemed reluctant to help non-french speakers. Manager had to insist she get us some requested ice, and with that we only got about 20 small cubes. The description is a lot better than reality.

Review 16:The location was very convenient to town and attractions. The room was clean.

Review 17:The bed was a little bit too soft, but this can vary on personal preferences.

Review 18:Everything. It's a nice place to stay a few days and enjoy Tadoussac. Staff was very helpful in organising a whale watching tour.

Review 19:Noisy: beside street sloping down to ferry and could also hear neighbour's TV.

Review 20:Fully equipped kitchen to produce own meals using local ingredients. Glimpses of lake through trees and sitting area.

Review 21:Awful room, 1970's style, dirty, noisy, old blankets and spots on sheets, have to give deposit for remote. melamine furniture. Would be okay as youth hostel, but not as a hotel style stay. separate motel style entry to room.

Review 22:Staff were nice and tried to be helpful, breakfast was adequate.

Review 23:Very noisy neighbours and you hear the trucks breal for the ferryenterance.

Review 24:Close to everything. Staff was amazing, extreamely friendly, booked ourwhale watching trips, got us great discounts, extreamly helpful with theferry crossings. The staff makes the stay get a good evaluation.

Review 25:No air condition but with patio doors open it was good. It's a B&B so it's not sound proof.

Review 26:Breakfast was great. Location was ideal. Staff very friendly. Quaint B&B

Review 27:Good location in Tadoussac for town and ferry

Review 28:I thought $10 for breakfast was a little high...for the price, it should have been included with the room ate.

Review 29:Is already described in the ratings

Review 30:It was nice that we could park there.

Review 31:Bathroom was downstairs - not very good for night time toilet users!

Review 32:Nice big bedroom

Review 33:too noise, Uncomfortable. did get the room I booked. On route to the ferry on hwy 138 trucks rolling by on the hour until 5am then every 20 minutes

Review 34:Could have better bed for price.

Review 35:Good location.

Review 36:The room was too small. Minimal space!

Review 37:Nice place.

Review 38:No Wifi in the room. Bathroom is located down stairs

Review 39:Great breakfast

Review 40:Shower was awful some rooms were incredibly small and also the shower breakfast was poor

Review 41:easy to find

Review 43:Very nice and comfortable room.

Review 44:The shower was a little small.

Review 45:The hotel was very nice and clean. The beds where very comfortable. I stayed with my daugther and we were very pleased.

Review 46:The WiFi was frustratingly bad. We thought it was a little overpriced, especially as breakfast wasn't included. But overall we liked the place.

Review 47:Location was good, very close to everything and we had a nice unit with a kitchen. Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 48:staff organised whale viewing which was helpful but didn't tell the company to pick us up and we nearly missed the boat

Review 49:Location good and has own car park.

Review 50:Paid for a deluxe double room with 2 double beds(extra long) but they didn't have one. Finally gave us one with a toilet that didn't work and had to change rooms the next day. They wanted us out of the 1st room by 10am, had to put our stuff back in our car and the 2nd room was not ready until 3pm. That room had only 1 short double and 1 short single bed, not what I paid for and they would not reduce the price. Walls are paper thin, on noisy highway with lots of trucks, no water pressure in shower, limited hot water, no air conditioner or fan, no Wi-Fi, no radio, no clock or wake up service. Disappointed!

Review 51:Easy to find

Review 52:It'S close to the main road so a little Noisy but not enough to keep us awake. There was a fan over our bed but no air conditionning but with the window open we were fine.

Review 53:It was clean and well maintained. The staff was always there to answer our questions. The breakfast offered a great variety and abondance of food.

Review 54:Early in the season ( May'14) we visited Tadoussac. The acco was good for a couple of nights.

Review 55:The beds were amazing, must have been new mattress'. The comforters also were very snuggly.

Review 56:Without aircon in hot summer days are a discomfort A bit noisy from road traffic

Review 57:Good breakfast

Review 58:The beds were very comfortable.
