Review 1：This hotel doesn't have beach access, you have to go by your own. In my suite there was not WiFi coverage. You have to deal with transportation services, there are not prices guidance from the hotel, some drivers are nice but others not. In my suite 10th floor the balcony railing was not properly tight. Overpriced

Review 7：In the first day we had a bad experience with the hotel transportation. As the hotel doesn't have direct access to the beach, they offered a free service to Bocagrande just for the 10 first guests. We were waiting for another van but the hotel stuff didn't provide one (the second one departs at 2 p.m. while the first departs at 9 a.m.) and we had to pay a taxi to go there. Obviously the service was insufficient for the hotel capacity.

Review 8：The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of colombian typical dishes. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The swimming pool was ok and the gym was well-equipped. They have a taxi service that was very efficient. About the room, the bed was very big and comfortable, clean. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. I'll sure recommend this hotel.

Review 9：Has serious issues with water/water pressure at hotel.We arrived on Saturday, minimal water pressure to start and almost no hot water. Monday water was completely out. Turns out the whole half of the hotel where we were at was out of water. Kids had room on other side, so we knew that side had water. Requested they provide a key for an empty room on that side so that my wife and I could shower while they fixed the problem. They did but then inactivated it the following day without letting us know. I then found out we had just enough to shower (with cold water) in our room. A couple of days later, we were out sightseeing most of the day. When we arrived in the evening (hot sweaty day), we went to take showers only to find out there was NO WATER (and the A/C was also out so room was warm). I went to the front desk, and they proceeded to tell me THE ENTIRE hotel was without water, and so were the A/Cs because the cooling system was tied to water system (?). At this point I was pretty upset as I had spent hours going back and forth with staff... Not what I would have expected of a GHL hotels property - particularly given I had spent some good cash and this was supposed to be a fun family vacation. The staff were very apologetic. I did ask to speak with the Gral Mgr, but he was evasive and always sent his staff to speak on his behalf. This was the final straw for me. I travel quite a bit (software consultant) and have stayed at Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, etc properties in the US and abroad... Usually not picky and can certainly understand the occasional maintenance problem. When we had the initial issue, I was very understanding with Jessica at the front desk, and happily accepted the other room's key as an acceptable solution. However, it is not acceptable to have continual problems with plumbing and water... I feel GHL corporate should really consider whether the Gral Mgr at this hotel is doing his job.

Review 35：There was a lot of construction at and around the hotel. The beaches in front of the hotel are not good swimming beaches, but without construction will be decent. When I first arrived the water was not working, but that was fixed that afternoon and the hotel comped a meal for the trouble and also upgraded my room. The wait staff was friendly, but constantly wanted to remove plates too quickly.

Review 36：The facilities were clean and the hotel is easy access to the airport and the old city center ($7,000 COP cab ride). All of the rooms had an ocean view and were reasonably quite. Everything was clean.

Review 100：It claims to be a beach hotel. Unfortunately, instead of a beach there is a construction site of a new road. Machines, lorries and workers move around since the morning till the evening. There is no access to the beach and sea directely, one must walk or také a taxi somewhere else. Fortunately, the road should be finished by September 2014.

Review 101：This hotel is very new (open since December 2013), very modern, comfortable, clean, with a good swimming pool and two pools for children, a restaurant with very tasty food, almost perfect.
