Review 1：There wasn't a tea and coffee making facility in the bed room. The reception however was happy to make you a hot drink.

Review 4：We booked a deluxe room and were upgraded to a suite. The stay was pleseant, the room was newly renovated and clean, staff was friendly, communicative atmosphere during breakfast. Basic french language skills recommended.
Review 5：Motel is located at noisy access street to ferry where hundreds of trucks pass day and night. Could not open windows. Thin doors and old facilities. Very tiny bathroom. Poor breakfast in very tiny room with too many people on both days we were there. Far too expensive.
Review 6：The breakfast was poor - all carbohydrates. Very bland. Eggs would be nice or more protein. Staff were not interested in us or anyone. Not especially warm!

Review 8：You have the Impression to have booked a nice b&b in an old house when you first discover that there are indeed several new rooms built behind the house When you enter the place you are facing an information desk and have rather the Impression to be in a travel agency than in a bed and breakfast Then our room was located right above the dining room (for the breakfast) which looks like a buffet in a restaurant and even if we were close from the river, no way to get some fresh air since all the windows were sealed.
Review 9：The staff was very rude. The beds were way to soft you sunk in the middle and you could hear all sounds from inside the house to outside the house. I would not tell anybody to stay at this place.
Review 10：- Staff unfriendly - false/ misleading advertising with respect to the amenities for Maison Gauthier (no TV in room, no fridge in room, on suite is not an on suite it is simply 2 very small rooms with a bed with no place to sit) - extremely inconvenient & cumbersome from parking to registration to room (steps, walkways, narrow stairways, non paved parking & pathways making it much more difficult to bring luggage in room) - poor value for money: at most the cost should be 75$/night to stay at Maison Gauthier

Review 12：Be careful if you book the blue room in the main house. While it is spacious and comfortable, you hear much of the comings and goings from the kitchen beneath you... lots of door slamming, loud talking, calling to staff in other rooms. On my last evening there, I had an odd experience where it seemed like someone kept walking the upstairs hallway and stopping in front of my two doors. This went on for some time. I would have liked a peep hole in the door so I could see who was outside my door. I was grateful when it finally stopped. While the facilities were nice, the breakfast extensive and generous... I found the price charged per evening way too high. Two nights cost just over $340. I would not return.

The breakfasts were rather poor, although scrambled eggs were provided one morning, the other 2 mornings there was nothing other than the standard breaded products, 2 choices of cereal, fresh fruits melon, oranges, kiwi and pineapple and yoghurt (1 morning only)
