Reviews for Charleston Santa Teresa
Review 1:Priciest hotel in Colombia we stayed at but comes with the territory.
Review 2:Great staff, overly accommodating to every request. Beautiful hotel in general in an awesome location. Roof top pool has great views and the rooms are clean and nicely decored. Great hot water pressure in showers. Breakfast room service is also tasty :)
Review 3:Everything. Friendly and accomadating staff. Beautiful colonial style. Even have a fantastic rooftop pool and restaurants, courtyard breakfast, and beautiful patio in front of the hotel for drinks at night.
Review 4:The wifi in the room only worked if we stood over by the door and faced the wall but we had access on the roof very easily. It is expensive - Europe prices.
Review 5:I was unable eat for two days and the staff in the Terrazza were very attentive and made me fresh mint tea. The bed , linen and pillows were wonderful. The staff at Reception helped us with our return flight booking in online and were very attentive. The room and the whole hotel was beautifully clean. I enjoyed a spa treatment. The location and the roof facilities are excellent. The toiletries are the best I have found in a hotel and the towels were changed fresh each day and sometimes more than once.
Review 6:The hotel is much more expensive compared to the other hotel in the area. Also, no facilities after 12 am. Other hotels might be similar but had an issue with the AC and there were no rooms or any one to fix until the next day.
Review 7:The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and they tried to help as much as they can.
Review 8:There is no room service after 12 mid night.
Review 9:Friendly staff.. Excellent house keeping. They actually clean the room twice a week. The front desk staff are very good.
Review 10:Lots of hidden charge (local taxes, staff services, staff services taxes), room price quoted on booking.com did not match the final bill presented at departure. Slow wi-fi
Review 11:Location, rooftop terrace and pool, clean rooms.
Review 12:view
Review 13:pool, room
Review 14:Everything was crazy amazing and Freddy (The Manager) was the best guy ever. He makes u feel like it´s your home. Sweeeet!
Review 15:Loudness from the downstairs dinner room if your room is in the atrium
Review 16:Pool, rooms, service
Review 17:We encountered only one unfriendly lady serving breakfast next to the pool
Review 18:Location, friendly staff, very helpful front desk
Review 19:Service is NOT 5 star. When we walked into our room (which we paid around $350 per night) there were people doping heavy construction outside our bathroom window, so basically there was a terrible noise and they could see right into our shower. It also took them about an hour to change our room letting us wait and eventually we had to take all our luggage to the reception and demand a room right now so we can get on with our day. I would not expect that room to even be open in that state when you're paying that amount of money. Very disappointing.
Review 20:The hotel is truly a luxury facility and a beautiful building with large rooms and fantastic facilities
Review 21:We thought the room was very over priced. We stayed in a junior suite, which I think maybe had a slightly larger bathroom than the regular rooms, but was nowhere near worth $400 a night. We were also charged for a minibar item, when neither of us used the minibar. Turns out it was the small bottle of water in the bathroom, for $5. Not that that's huge on the grand scale of things, but it feels cheap, especially when we're already paying so much for the hotel.
Review 22:The rooms are attractive, the courtyard lovely, the location great, but the incredible roofdeck with roofdeck with pool totally made it for us. Fantastic views of the city, great food, gorgeous design. We spent the entire weekend on the roof.
Review 23:My partner and I stayed here a junior suite which may i point out was very exspensive. When we checked out we found more added extras put onto the bill ie added taxes for Chambermaids, and the Pool..I thought that type of thing was included in the rate..Then we were charged 11usd just for a bottle of water which i though was free...Eventually after wasting 30 mins of my time in a so called 5 Star hotel they decided to refund the additional charges ..and so they should
Review 24:We wanted to have drinks in the central courtyard outside the bar and we had to wait quite a while to be served. My husband had to go into the bar twice to inquire about service. But we realize that service is a little different outside the US so this really was not a big deal
Review 25:Great location, tastefully decorated and the staff were friendly and with a few exceptions, attentive.
Review 26:breakfast always the same and limited, gym area very poor, spa not included, very expensive compare to services included
Review 27:superior room large, very well situated
Review 28:our suite had a wet patch in the sitting area and my husband slipped and fell. When we returned later in day- the wet patch was still there- not what you expect in a high end hotel. my husband was sore for a couple of days however somebody else may have had a serious injury.
Review 29:location- we could get up and walk around. we also liked the tour company inside the hotel- fantastic tours!
Review 30:The stuff mostly doesn't speak English, some of the rooms located atthe ground floor can get very loud and fool of mosquitoes, and any otherfood but breakfast that we had in the hotel was awful, very bland, notaste and very expensive.
Review 31:Hotel is at the excellent location, rooms are very nice and clean, the rooftop and the pool area are very relaxing and the breakfastis excelent.
Review 32:santa theresa has turned into an event center. they are more concerned about money makers like weddings and corporate events. we were placed in a front room in the direct line of a corporate event that lasted until 3 in the morning.....our room was shaking due to the noise. said they would compensate us several times but never did. i have stayed there 4 times and will never go back. also is not cool anymore....seems to cater to the 60-80 crowd. sofitel and surrounding area are where its at. Alma also looked outstanding
Review 33:The Hotel needs a Concierge Service to recomend places to go, restaurants. They are not very good at this.
