Reviews for Kurhotel Quellenhof
Review 1:-the internet connection was not really good. - breakfast was not included.
Review 2:Our intension was to visit Cochem but hotel there or nearby were all booked. The hotel is about 40 min(by car) far from Cochem in a great neighbourhood. Nice village. The hotel seems to be luxury hotel while ago.
Review 3:i found the hotel expensive for what you get. No supermarkets around, cards rarely accepted and most of guests appear to be for orthopedic reasons to say it gently.
Review 4:walking distance to the spa, village located in the middle of the valley and is very quiet.
Review 5:A spartanly-furnished place that is more like a 2-star than a 4-star. The restaurant has a limited menu and nothing was of notable quality. The breakfast buffet is barely average and not worth the separate charge. There are so many other fine hotels in this area that I would never return here.
Review 6:The hotel back onto a stream, which provides a nice sound to fall asleep to.
Review 7:- mega-drawback for international travellers: the hotel does not accept any credit cards, only German EC cards. Therefore foreigners without German bank accounts have to get cash and pay the fees for that, very customer unfriendly! - parking costs €5/day in hotel carpark, I would expect that to be free for residents
Review 8:- free Wifi, but only in lobby area and stairwell, only fee-based icloud service in the rooms - very clean
Review 9:When we first arrived in our hotel room, the sink looked as if it hadn't been wiped clean. A river of soap from the dispenser led to the drain. At first I thought it was a leaky soap dispenser, but after our room was serviced the morning after our arrival, the sink was clean and the river of soap never reappeared. Also, I noticed some small brown drips of some kind of fluid on the door frames. I wiped those clean with a Clorox wipe. No big deal. Internet connection in the rooms is non-existent, so if you're a traveler with tech needs, know that you'll have to use the wi-fi connection in the lobby or restaurant. Finally, the hotel DOES NOT accept major credit cards like it says on booking.com. They accept cash or Maestro cards only.
Review 10:My husband and I stayed at Kurhotel Quellenhof on a long weekend to Cochem. The hotel is conveniently located in Bad Bertrich, which is about 30 minutes or so outside of Cochem. Even though Bad Bertrich is small, we found several delicious restaurants, a park, war monuments, and shopping to pass the hours on Saturday afternoon. Unlike some towns in Germany, many stores opened on Sunday. We found the hotel well-equipped. Breakfast was good. The shower was nice and hot, and our bed was comfortable.
Review 11:breakfast could be better,
Review 12:green surroundings, peaceful, sound of stream behind hotel
Review 13:somewhat outdated, dark and unpleasant hall, poor breakfast
Review 14:Hotel didn't mentioned that there fees for inhouse spa
Review 15:Close to thermal baths
Review 16:- Photo gallery is unreal (accommodation is too different).- Hotel´s restaurant has terrible offer. Meal tastes horrible. And restaurant was closed too early. - Receptionist doesnt speaks English (and undestand). - We cannot payed by payment card - PROBLEM
Review 17:Breakfast quiet location parking
Review 18:The bed was awful - old mattresses of different kind on the double bed, one higher than the other. One mattress was on some old iron board (Lattenrost).
Review 19:breakfast was relatively good. The location is in the middle of the spa resort.
Review 20:No staff available at night. Restaurant opening times are limited, so we ate at the neighbouring hotel every night.
Review 21:Very large room with a nice view from the balcony. Quaint interior.
