Review 1：The spa area is fantastic, they even kept it available a little later as I was a late arrival, restaurant is excellent for dinner and breakfast is the king of buffets, staff are wonderful.

Review 2：The food in the restaurant was not worth a hotel of 5 stars. Although the breakfast was very good. For me, the decoration of the restaurant was terrible. But that is something personal!

Review 4：The entire first floor had a stench of smoke throughout. Surprisingly disappointing as this is a wellness facility. The spa was very nice but when we asked about booking a foot massage appointment we were told the entire week was full in spite of hardly anyone being there. The wifi in our room did not have acceptable reception- we had to go to lobby area- not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. The refrigerator in our room did not cool properly- they were very nice about it and brought us ice and complimentary wine, but the fridge was not fixed for our remaining days there.

Review 7：The staff were great, nothing was too much trouble. The décor and location were exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful (we didn't speak German). They even parked the car for us until we were used to the car park.

Review 15：We were given a room on the pedestrian-zone side of the hotel, which proved to be very noisy at night - we were constantly being woken by late-night revellers. To compensate for the fact that we did not have a view of the hotel gardens from our room, we at least wanted to enjoy the beautiful surroundings from a table in the dining room. On three occasions during our two-night stay, we were denied access to this area of the dining room (although there were free tables), which was very disappointing. We had the feeling that other guests were being given preferential treatment. As this is a relatively pricey 5* hotel, there should be no extra charge for Wi-Fi. Also, the bathroom had no (functioning) ventilation system.

Review 17：Perfect destination for Spa holidays. Comfortable spacious rooms, friendly staff and excellent spa facilities. Also the Bad Bertrich town is very beautiful. Amazingly large choise of food for breakfast.

The Spa area and pool were the best we have experienced. Kai, the Head Receptionist was really helpful helping us out when we had a problem with our car.
