Reviews for Hotel Decameron Marazul All Inclusive

Review 1:the food was not very good. there is no real beach, only a sandy area to get some sun. rooms are average but clean. it's a small hotel, not much to do within

Review 2:very helpful when it comes to booking activities around the island and beyond. very spacious room. has a taxi office by the front gate so transportation always available.

Review 5:Poor cuality alcohol (national brands), there was a limited types of drinks you could choose from (for example, no mojitos) and it was served in cardboard cups. There was no beach in the hotel, you had to walk 20' to a beach club. The dinner seemed to have the leftovers from the lunch as the food repeated over and over with "specials" (same food plated differently) and you have to pick carefully. The worst was, the hotel is so tacky they want to charge for everything is possible, the wifi is U$D5 an hour, and there is not a single common space with free WiFi if I'm paying U$D315 per night there could be wifi at least in the lobby, also the safebox they charge it U$D3 per day. The decoration of the common spaces had poor taste. Maryland and Isleño (more expensive) are far better, those have private beach and a nice kay to go, try to book those.

Review 6:Staff was nice, except for the reception lady. Breakfast was good, plenty variety of food. They take you for free to El Acuario, a heavenly Cayo 5 minutes away by boat. The Bedroom was enormous.

Review 7:We were trapped and told we could not leave the resort until we turned in all of our wrist bands. The wristbands were were very uncomfortable especially for 4 days to wear had to be turned in and that was not made clear to us when we checked in. We never received a "briefing" nor information about all of the regulations. The checkout process was a nightmare and we almost missed our flight because they would not let us leave until we found the wristbands which had been thrown away. Due to this awful experience I will never stay here again

Review 8:the beach was graet and the activities were great, the staff who led the activities were great

Review 9:The staffs are working hard, but they should take time to smile and greet the guests.

Review 10:The rooms are spacious and clean. The food choices are good and the bar is great.

Review 11:Food

Review 12:very outdated rooms

Review 13:swimming pool

Review 14:Takes a bit long to book in...no TV remote for us.

Review 15:Good location, great food, rooms were nice and big, love the bar on the jetty...

Review 16:Mostly everything. This hotel and the whole chain is totally overpriced. Personnel is poorly trained. Need reservation to all a la carte restaurants, but we need more than 24h for that. Rooms smell badly and moistly and they could only transfer us the next day. But worst of all is the feeling that they try to save every penny at your expense serving bad food and beverages. Having paid USD 360 per night the only thing I can say is avoid this hotel.

Review 17:Some facilities, such as the pool and the pier.
