Review 1：Be careful with this place if you have pets. They try to charge extra for a second dog, regardless of breed or size. I won't return.

Review 2：Very serene, quiet and peaceful.

Review 3：The girl at the front desk was very helpful in getting us checked in and explaining the facilities. She also warned us about a bear that had been spotted on the property! The view from our room was amazing and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Review 4：a bit noisy from the patio restaurant below but there was a craft beer festival (?) on that weekend. Doubt it would be an issue any other time.

Review 6：Room was too warm at night and couldn't get the temperature down. Also the road in could do with some repairs.

Review 10：The television, or the network did not work. No mini fridge. Only a Kerig style coffeemaker with 2 pods. Ice was a long way from our room on a different floor.

Review 11：The view from the room was outstanding! It overlooks the small marina and the water. We had incredibly noisy laughter/party next door, well into the night. I called the office, and security answered (midnight) and they took care of it immediately.

Review 12：Breakfast only until 9:15 am which is a little early for a lot of travellers,missed completely the first day. Second day was very basic, very grudging wait staff. Had to ask for more bread, milk, coffee etc. None to happy to oblige.

Review 14：Concepts of customer service were sadly lacking. The front office staff were somewhat distant and did not have the information you needed, although they tried to be helpful. The continental breakfast was a joke - hardly any choice, dreadful food, poorly presented - and it ended at 9:15 - on a weekend.

Review 16：the lights of the marina are on all night, so it was quite bright. The breakfast, was bare minimum, the worst selection we have ever had, we didnt even go the next morning. Better than nothing, but not by much! Next time we will ask for a room with a fridge. Also the pool is very dated.

Review 17：We stayed on the fourth floor in a quadrduple suite. (2 queen beds) in the newer white building. The view was amazing! We enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching the sunset

Review 18：Table & chairs on balcony not great. Service in The Savoury Bight was awful - we waited over an hour for our dinner on a Tuesday evening. The hostess was unable to tell us what was included with the dinner special - said she'd find out - never came back. Smoked salmon pasta dish very, very smoked! Breakfast selection pretty slim.

Review 20：The breakfasts and the service for them we found very weak. Breakfast stopped at 9:15 but you had to arrive 15 minutes ahead of that to get any. First day we were told there was no sausages, next day we were told they had run out of eggs and bacon, so we had negative impressions of that both days. There was only one server to serve everybody inside and outside on their very large outdoor patio, so that led to slower than normal service.

Review 21：We loved the location overlooking the sea, with lovely sea views. The room size was excellent, we had a 2 queen bed room on the 4th- top floor. We were able to leave the sliding door and window open even at night, although there were no screens, there were no mosquitoes to bother us.

Review 22：The room was climated, but the cooling unit made a huge noise. Since it wasn't too warm we switched it off. An evening stroll is not easily done, except one wants to walk along the beach over rather big stones. Meaning: you need a car to get anywhere.

Review 23：The view was great, below was a small marina. We've had a room with two double beds which were extremely comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff friendly. The seems to be rather quiet, about 2-3 km away from the city center. Beach to sit on some trunks to sit on nearby, one can watch the sunset from there.

Review 24：The air conditioner was far to noisy. There was no bed side table on one side of the bed which was very inconvenient for a person who wants to keep their glasses by their bedside and for us who like a glass of water by our bed at night.

Review 32：the staff was quite unfriendly Not very clean (spider web, just a bit neglected looking), no staff at reception after 10 pm. We had other guests smoking on the balcony below us and although we complained (directly to them and to reception) it was not stopped. We had to close our windows all night. Little things like no fridge (unless you pay extra money), huffy reception, one night stand for two double beds, .... everything was just a bit off. Would never stay there again.

Review 36：I feel like I paid for the view above all else. I thought I was getting a higher end resort room based on reviews and prices but room was exceptionally standard. Nothing above mediocre in terms of any extras. I also couldn't contact my family as the calling card was unusable. 1 800 numbers don't work because you have to have a credit card to unlock the option to dial anything starting with a 1.

Review 38：We were late arriving due to a missed ferry and barely made it to reception before they closed. We were informed that we had been checked in in our absence as the desk was getting ready to shut at 9pm. We had to run to the bar to get food where we were again told how late we were. Even though the lady who ended up serving us was great, we felt so uncomfortable that we were gone before 9:30

Review 39：The lady who looked after us in the bar could not have been nicer. She was incredibly friendly and very efficient.

Review 40：The liquor store was directly under our room, so noisy until 10:30 PM. After that, all quiet all night. Room charge was high compared to what we paid in other areas.

Review 41：We stayed in the newer rooms, had a small balcony overlooking marina. Our housekeeping lady was very friendly & accommodating.

Review 42：Outdoor balcony was a little dirty. Patio furniture was old and broken. Towel rack in bathroom was also broken. A little more effort on cleaning and maintenance would have improved our overall rating.

Review 43：Beds were very comfortable. Great ocean view. Fell asleep to the sounds of waves lapping onto the beach. Inside of room was clean and modern. Overall a good two nights stay.

Review 44：The hotel does not have a restaurant service on a Monday morning. we were therefore not able to have breakfast at the hotel as we expected and had to travel a couple of miles into town which was not ideal. This was not made clear on the booking form and so we missed out by staying on a Sunday night.

Review 45：Our room overlooked the harbour and the view was splendid. However the room itself was a little 'tired', although clean and reasonably comfortable. It was fine for a one-night stopover.

Review 48：The hallways make you feel like you are staying in a dive motel. The balcony furniture is of the oldest, cheapest, falling apart plastic, so unappealing to sit out there. With a spectacular view like that, the balconies should be inviting. Everything in the supposedly new, renovated rooms feels like it came from a 1980s hotel. The electronics are archaic. I have stayed in 5 star hotels for that amount of money. Not even close to getting value for money. Every time a person flushes their toilet in another room, it sounds like a flood is happening in your room. Every time a door opens or closes in the hallway, it is like a thunderclap.

Review 49：The patio and restaurant were fantastic. The service at the restaurant was exceptional. However, no hot breakfast or brunch??? Only a cold continental breakfast that ends at 9:30 am.

Review 50：Breakfast was included, if you could call it that. Cereals on offer were basic, bowls were non-existent , and when we asked for a bowl we were told there weren't any available, this was mid way through serving time. People constantly had to ask for things, eg. top up of orange juice jug, milk jug, coffee and when someone asked for toast another frozen loaf was brought out!! No one was checking and no one seemed to care. Rooms could be so lovely but they are very tired.

Review 51：Fantastic location with amazing views, very nice evening restaurant with good food and fireside table to sit round. The rooms were a good size and clean, although could do with refreshing. The check-in staff were helpful and there was plenty of parking facilities.

Review 52：The continental Breakfast was a joke. Very small bowls, no protein at all, two kinds of cereal. You need to get this improved if you want to cater to US citizens.
