Reviews for Hotel Nautilus
Review 1:The breakfast is dissapointing and not as one would expect from hotel of this sort. Coffee from an automat, to find anything is a challange, ... Style over substance.
Review 2:keep returning, feels special to stay. Lovely deco and location
Review 3:The computer for guest use in the atrium was very dirty, extremeny slow, in fact useless. And not connected to a printer. No compilmentary water in the room, that´s a first. Breakfast was chaotic; bread at one end, butter at the other etc....
Review 4:The view from our room (203)was probably the best in the hotel, as it had two windows facing the square. Nice big room , a bit dated, but well kept. Decent bed, bathrobes, good wifi.
Review 5:Small room , small bathroom and food was just okay . Few items like gooseliver not available . Six little snails together with 3 empty " houses " on a big plate were a joke .
Review 6:Vintage feeling and very clean rooms . Private parking a few minutes walk from the hotel .
Review 7:small w/c with small shower stall. old springy bed wasn't very comfy. a bit pricey considering it is Tabor (not Prague) and there are numerous pensions with excellent accommodations at half the price.
Review 8:Great hotel and fine dining with bar in the best location.
Review 9:Bathroom was very small, and shower difficult to modulate.
Review 10:Location right at main square. Excellent breakfast, and exceptional service and meals at Goldie. Helpful staff.
Review 11:Great hotel in a lovely little medieval town off the well-beaten Czech tourist track. The hotel was right on the town's main old square and the attached restaurant served a delicious dinner. The staff was very helpful (even carrying a bag to our room for us!) and friendly.
Review 12:Coming back regularly the investment in to the hotel seems to stopped some years back, sealant around the bath is peeling off and deco didn't change a bit. Breakfast is chaotic and to find what is on offer is a challange. The chef is by far too friendly and seeing him in his whites handling guests luggage was strange
Review 13:Lovely deco and location, real treat to stay, nicest place in tabor by far. Changed the standard room to deluxe last minute without hassle. But..
Review 14:Place was a little too quiet for us and all was closed and asleep pretty early
Review 15:Lovely warm receptionist NIce atmosphere Amazing collection of bronze and gold statues, paintings and sculptures all over hotel Fab food in Goldie restaurant Excellent efficient service for dinner
Review 16:Nothing
Review 17:Lovely town, very nice hotel with comfortable rooms and parking. With wellness and massage for guests who are interested in. Congratulations to the cook who proposes excellent dishes and a delicious 6 courses menu at affordable price, I would recommend it to everyone!
Review 18:Got twin room for disabled (were told nothing else is available), not really comfortable one

Review 30:desayuno
Review 31:No fresh air inside the hotel and the rooms, no aircond. at any part of the hotel. For this room price should be.

Review 36:Lovely little town and the hotel in the main square hotel and staff first class, well worth a detour and an hour from Prague
Review 37:One of the best Hotel i have ever Seen and a top top Degustation Dinner. We come back in 2 weeks!
Review 38:The restaurant has pretensions but doesn't live up to them
Review 39:Excellent location and lovely quirky design
Review 40:Very central helpful staff.
Review 41:The parking was a bit hard to find, although I found a nice little pub/restaurant in a back ally on the way back so turned out to be a blessing in disguise!
Review 42:Super friendly and helpfull staff, everything was just so! Had a great night on the town, which is right on the doorstep, all good would definitely stay again.
Review 43:There wasnt tea/coffee facility in the room. Also no gym. Little bit disappointed with extra charges for sauna and jacuzzi.
Review 44:I was very happy with the stay. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Thank you for taking a good care of us .
Review 45:Friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding chef and kitchen which makes for a great dining experience. Staff is helpful in helping you come up with area things to do.
Review 46:nothing
Review 47:A lovey boutique hotel with quirky touches and the best restaurant in Tabor. The rooms are spacious and excellently furnished. A great place to stay if you are in Tabor whether on business or as visiting the area.
Review 48:We found the restaurant staff perfunctory and service was below expectations for such a lauded restaurant.
Review 49:Wonderful location overlooking main square of Tabor. Decor, including some fossils, was much more interesting than usual. Helpful Reception desk staff.
Review 50:Nothing not to like!
Review 51:Fabulous restoration of prime location on town square in Tabor. Secure off-site parking, excellent restaurant for all meals and in-between coffee/tea/beverage. Well-conceived concept for inner urban location.
Review 52:We had a very pleasent stay at this boutique hotel. Rooms are nice furnished, facilities is a combination of old original pieces with modern lights etc.. But the main star is the restaurant Goldie managed by the Chef Martin Svatek. We are very happy we found a gourmet restaurant with high ambitions. It is probably the best restaurant in South Bohemy.
Review 53:Would have liked to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Review 54:This was a lovely hotel in a great location for sight seeing and walking without needing a car. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English.
Review 55:We were looking forward to having the chef's choice menu in the restaurant but on arrival the restaurant was full with a weekly cycle tour group and we could only eat in the bar which wasn't the right setting for gourmet food and wine.
Review 56:This is a fabulous hotel with artworks on display. We had complimentary biscuits on arrival and were exceptionally pleased to have a fan in our room on such a hot day.
Review 57:The shower needed a bit of maintenance. But I'm nit-picking... It's a great hotel.
Review 58:Beautifully designed rooms, the one who did it clearly cared. The restaurant is excellent. It's unique to find a hotel and restaurant like this in South Bohemia.
Review 59:n/a
Review 60:an extraordinary staff in an extraordinary facility. Beauty everywhere you look, including a interesting display of fossils and international art work. Fantastic gourmet restaurant with the finest of buffet breakfast we've come across is our extensive travels! A very comfortable hotel in all aspects
Review 61:Perfect room and staff. But don't promise what can't deliver. Bohuzel very small shower.
Review 62:Very nice staff. Noise free in the centre of town. Beautiful room.
Review 63:The hotel is one of the most beautiful I´ve stayed. The room was sobeautiful, the beakfast a dream. The diner was superb. The staffwonderfull. It´s a pity I don`t live in Chez Rep, if so I would stay atthe hotel every weekénd.
Review 64:We had a third floor room. It had only a skylight but no windows. I did not mind but my wife would have preferred windows. Others in our party had 3rd floor rooms with windows and they raved about the views. Nevertheless, this hotel is so sweet, I'd still stay in the same room just to stay here.
Review 65:This is a gem of a hotel. Nicely located at the corner of a medieval village square, it is impeccably & tastefully furnished. Everything looks new, polished and clean. The rooms are large. The complimentary bottle of Bohemian Sekt was very much appreciated and enjoyed with pastries purchased at the village bakery across the square. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The serving and hotel staff were all quite helpful. My group of 5 travelers all truly enjoyed this hotel. Medieval Tabor was laid out with intentionally confusing streets. So it took awhile to navigate our rental van into the village square. And the first time we tried to leave town took even longer, requiring a 2 block backing up one of the narrow old streets to reverse direction. But who cares, c'est la vie. This was just a top notch, top tier hotel in a very pleasant and interesting village to visit.
Review 66:An excellent location on the main square, an absolute gem of a hotel, very welcoming and efficient. The bonus of a really great restaurant. Well worth a detour
Review 67:The only addition to make this hotel perfect would have been air conditioning!! It was very warm when we were there. But no A.C. is general all over Chezh.
Review 68:We were greeted by friendly, english speaking staff who could not do enough for us. The hotel is wonderful, attention to detail in the general areas and the bedroom was facinating, wacky, modern, and had that 'very special' feel about it all. We were travelling all over Czech on holiday and this was the best hotel we stayed in. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and very good value for money. The breakfast was good, and dinner in the evening prepared by an excellent chef at extremely reasonable prices. The Hotel is right in the centre of the square - an idea location.
Review 69:Everything was excellent. The hotel sets a very high standard. The location of the Nautilus, on the main square of the old town, is awesome. The Goldie restaurant (restaurant of the hotel) is superb. A perfect base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!
Review 70:Fabulous location right on the main square.I Had an attic room, which wasvery cosy, nicely furnished with hand painted furniture,a very comfybed, all the creature comforts like international tv channels,in-roomsafe,hair dryer,a reasonably priced minibar.A Nice touch were thecomplimentary chocolates in the room, and the carafe if water flavouredwith lots of citrus fruits and mint leaves. The staff were adelight, friendly, helpful, efficient, fluent in English and German.Therestaurant,Goldie, is wonderful,I had both lunch and dinner there, andboth were excellent,as was the buffet breakfast the next morning.
Review 71:Nothing - we are considering a return next year.
Review 72:It was a jewel - beautiful throughout, comfortable, very reasonablypriced, accommodating staff, excellent spa, gourmet restaurant with a 7course tasting menu as good as any I've ever eaten, well located for atour of Bohemia, right on the old town square of Tabor - itself a worthydestination. In short it was one of the best hotels we've experienced inquite a while.
Review 73:I have been to the Hotel Nautilus 3 times on business trips and havealways found the quality of the hotel to be very good indeed. I haveeaten at the restaurant on 2 occasions and have been impressed by thequality of the meals. I have had 3 types of room and they have all beencomfy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Equally good is the staff whoare efficient, polite and pleasant. I shall continue to use this hotel.
Review 74:1) We really looked forward to having a dinner at the restaurant again on the second day. As it was very quiet in the hotel and I know many shops in Czech close earlier than normal on Jan 1st, I specifically asked the waitress at the restaurant what time they were closing. She replied that they run normal hours, i.e. till 10pm. I asked this around 6pm, when we came down to have dinner shortly after 8pm, the restaurant was closed. When asking the girl at the front desk, she just replied "yeah, they closed and I have no idea where you can get food around here", which made me feel even angrier. It looked like instead of having delicious dinner at restaurant, we were going to be stuck with some sandwiches from petrol station. Luckily enough, I found probably the only running restaurant with food available on that day in whole Tabor, restaurant in Hotel Dvorak, where they prepared nice dinner I could take back to our room. 2) Although the hotel parking lot has only 9 places to park, it seems they let every guest in and do not control how many cars is in the parking lot. I went to pick some stuff from our car around 6pm on the 1st (busy) night and at least 3 cars (including ours) were blocked 3) Although the price list in the fridge said 35 CZK for 0.2l Pepsi, they charged us 70 CZK at the check-out. When asking about this, the front desk lady could not explain why, she said they probably forgot to update the list in the fridge.
Review 75:We stayed 2 nights, on New Year's Eve and New Years day. Hotel's restaurant was a great place to have New Years's Eve dinner, food & wine was amazing and they seemed to be running on standard prices, unlike many other restaurants in Czech on last night of the year. Lady at the front desk was very helpful to meet our requests, e.g. lending us a kettle to boil water for our 6 months old (although it might be a good idea to keep kettle on each room together with some tea bags). My wife had a massage which she was very satisfied with.
Review 76:It was very noisy at night due to the restaurants on the square.
Review 77:we liked our room very much, it was very stylish and comfortable
Review 78:Wonderful spot with a most helpful staff. The restaurant was a total winner.
Review 79:Excellent location in the very center of old city of Tabor, friendly and competent personal. Great value for money

Review 97:Nothing it was great experience.
Review 98:Very stylish and clean with a nice location right in the middle of Tabor.
Review 99:Airconditioning would be nice! We had to keep windows open and there were some idiots in the street who shouted all night and kept us awake.
Review 100:simply wonderful!
Review 101:Very good value for money. The cousine has pretension for high level. The rooms are small. Location is very good
Review 102:The complete decor of the hotel. The furnishings of the room had been kept to a high standard despite the hotel being 6 years old.
