Review 1：Not having a coffee maker in my room or an electric kettle to boil water for tea/ coffee. Awkward elevator design, stops every two stories and you always have to step up or down several steps to get to the elevator or to your room.

Review 2：Hotel was on the beach.Room was ok size, nicely decorated, modern fixtures in the bathroom, comfortable bed, good shower. AC working properly. Good buffet breakfast, with juices, pastries, cereal, ham, cheese, yogurt, some hot finger foods, and omelet prepared in front of you. Close enough to restaurants and shopping areas but in a quiet street. Very friendly staff.

Review 3：If a friend were to enter after a certain hour there was an extra charge for them. Also, all TV channels in Spanish.

Review 5：WiFi signal is not stable. Bed a bit hard. No many options for restaurants in the area, you need to take a taxi to go to the centre.

Review 8：Upon arrival I was offered a generous upgrade to room with a partial view of the sea and a bigger room. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff.

Review 9：Some of the staff appeared bored, unhappy. The bedroom was very dated. Old furniture and the shower did not function well. Needs a serious renovation. The air conditioning did not work. It was either on (very cold) or off (very warm). No way to control the temperature. The location is a bit out of the way. There were some prostitutes staying with gringos at the hotel.

Review 10：The free use of the "tents" on the beach. The swimming pool is very nice. The breakfast was decent, although some hot items ran out.

Review 11：I have no real complains about the hotel. Only thing is that wifi signal is a bit low in the rooms, but that seems to be the case in most hotels.

Review 13：The hotel has no cosy corners where to enjoy drinks and relax,no nice bar or terrace where to enjoy sundowners.it is all very clean and functional but without charme,we missed this ,especially as the position so close on the beach would make it the perfect spot to linger. The large windows with seaview are vey dirty and with the wind there is no way to keep them clean,it gives the otherwise nice rooms a bit of a rundown feel.

Review 18：Spring for the "Superior Double Room" with ocean view balcony - it's WELL worth it. Incredible views of the Caribbean Sea. Very spacious and clean rooms. Good hot water. Bocagrande is the Miami Beach-like area of Cartagena (about a 10-30 minute taxi ride to the old colonial city). You have direct access to the beach, the pool, as well as wi-fi and breakfast buffet. Lots of hotel for the money.

The staff was very kind, the hotel has exclusive tends on the beach with chairs and clean towels. They are willing to excedee your expectations during the whole day. Buffet breakfast with all kind of food.

Review 21：If you can afford it, better to just stay in the Old City walls area instead of BocaGrande.

Review 22：If you want to stay in BocaGrande, this is probably the nicest and the best you will find. It's clean, modern, and comfortable. To take a taxi to the Old City area should cost you no more than $7.

Review 23：Curtains in the room should be checked. There's not a complete black out at night and sunrise easy wakes you up. The swimming pool should be open at least until 10pm.

Review 56：The hotel has no parking and is veeeery difficult to find a place to park the car. This was really a problem. The location. Although it's in front of the sea, it's far from everything else worth too in the city. The way to hotel is complicated if you don't have a GPS. This was what I really didn't like. If you are going there without a car, I recommend the hotel. If you have a car, think twice in high season!

Review 57：The hotel itself. Very clear, clean, small and neat. The staff was very attentive and regardful. The room was big, clean, with a balcony looking to the sea, very good shower (indeed!), although the bathroom is a little small. Not a problem at all. The breakfast was fair. Not so good neither bad.
