Review 1：The noise of AC in the room

Review 2：Very good staff, good food, nice beach (the beach is so nice that we never use the private pool in our villa), very good snorkeling, high level service, all very good!

Review 3：The staffs here are really helpful and always available whenever you have questions or need assistance. They couldn't extend late checkout with my water villa on my departure day, but arranged a beach front villa for stay until 9pm. The house reef is amazing and we saw blacktip sharks, stingray and many big fishes, it is possibly one of the best diving and snorkeling site in Maldives!

Review 4：Food can be better. $28USD for a nasi goreng (fried rice which usually cost less than $4 in my home country) I expected a lot more.

Review 10：1) Over water villas with pools have a noticeable level of noise due to the pool mechanism 2) LED pool lights for the over water villas with pools would be nice if they didn't change color every five seconds like a Christmas tree. They either should change more smoothly and less often, or stay as one color 3) Shampoo, shower gel and conditioner could have definitely been of higher quality 4) Towels and robes could have definitely been of higher quality as well 5) For the highly conscious: the quality of the finishes inside the villa is not the best, a lot of plywood, some cheap fabric on the walls here and there 6) Location could bother some as it is not very isolated - lights from other resorts and from Male island are clearly visible. Boats passing by all day as well as planes landing at the Male airport are also always visible. We didn't mind however, given the short transport time from the airport

Review 11：1) Location is super convenient as it is just 25 minutes from the Airport by speedboat - perfect when coming in from a long flight 2) Loved the yacht that they picked us up on, loved that they had cold towels and drinks 3) Staff is okay, some great, some not so great - you can't expect much more on a remote island. Overall feeling was great. 4) We had a "Villa Host" who was good. Would have liked to see him be a little more proactive and get more things that what we asked for done for us. Had he not been there it would have made very little or no difference to us to be honest, but it was nice to have someone to "rely" on. 5) Villa host was *very* helpful with a late checkout, which was SUPER considering that otherwise you will be stuck on a remote island with nothing to do and no shower 6) Everyone on the island was super kind up to the last moment they took us to the airport. It was *not* one of those "all right you checked out we're done with you" kind of resorts. Five star service until the end. 7) Food is great. You pay for it, but it's really really good. Good portions too. Breakfast package is definitely worth it. 8) Activities are fun, and also high quality. From the yachts and boats to the snorkeling gear, nothing was mediocre. 9) Fantastic reef, thanks to the age of the resort 10) Thanks to the*full* renovation, everything on the island feels new 11) Fresh fruit daily (exotic fruit as well), as well as cookies daily (high quality) was a nice touch 12) Room was cleaned twice a day, tea, Nespresso capsules, as well as water and ice was replaced every time room was cleaned

Review 12：one thing is the worst thing and it's the " Wi Fi " my advise buy a sim card from airport and activate the internet to use , if you pass this disadvantage you will get beautiful experiance , also i've got information that the resort will install high speed internet for resort next three months

Review 13：the place is perfect less then 25 min by boat from airport to the resort you can use the whole day and not waste any minute , i took villa in the sea with private pool it's really private , the pictures not explain every thing , the staff so friendly and the villahost always ready to help , no need for bicycle because the island so small only 10 min to walk around , the activate so great , in this resort u can use the whole day with activty from 9 morning until 12 midnight not wasting any moment , beautiful place and sure i will visit again

Review 14：The island had all what we need, the food was great as the resort had three resturants with different type of high quality food. There was one host manager who was taking care of all our needs. The privacy of each villa is what we liked the most.

Review 18：For the price paid, I was expecting a bit more like drinks served on the beach, live music every day,... and overall we feel very stuck on the island with only very few possibilities to travel around it (outside from very expensive private excursions)

Review 24：Amazing resort, quiet and clean, staffs were very friendly, food was excellent, you can borrow snorkeling equipments without charge, WiFi access on the entire island, I would recommend a stay of at least 3 days to fully enjoy the island.

Review 25：2nd time we went there , after 3 years . Villa next to ours was renovated , so whole day carpenters and hammering. We informed the staff to stop this but no result. Food extremely expensive , even for Maldives Not much variety on food , nevertheless quality of food is okay , but not more than that .

Review 26：Staff were very warm, helpful and friendly without being intrusive. We were staying in the water villa, which was very clean, comfortable and well maintained, and we had our private access to the sea, which was absolutely stunning. Clear, turquoise waters with sharks, stingrays and fishes of all shapes, sizes and colours. The complimentary lifejackets and snorkeling gear were very much appreciated.

Review 29：I did Sandbank dining for lunch. Unfortunately, by the end of my lunch,some other people came onto the Sandbank, so it wasn't private anymore. This is not Baros' fault though. The people who came onseriously looked like rogues! They refused to leave even though stafffrom Baros talked to them about it for a very long time! Eventually, Isimply chose to leave the Sandbank, because it was already ruined. Barostold me that although the Sandbank is technically public, the MaldivanGovernment is actually ok with the resorts booking it for privatedining. And when this happens, other people are supposed to ask for theresort's permission before coming on. But it basically came down towho was more evil. And even if you call the police, it would be a wasteof time, and even if they leave they would already have had their funand ruined your Sandbank experience. So if you want to do Sandbankdining, just be prepared that some rogues may come on and ruin yourexperience (if you're on honeymoon you want to really think twice!)But Baros handled the situation as best they can and they sent many people over to help and they tried to do whatever they could for me, so I thank them for that.

Review 30：This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life! The staff wasamazing and went out of their way to make sure everything was good! Theywere super helpful! The natural environment was spectacular! The lagoonwas sparkling sapphire blue! The food impossibly yummy! The landscapingand room design of the property deserves an international award!Unlike a lot of other just as expensive resorts in the Maldives, Baros really offers a sense of privacy! And they add in so many touches to make the place feel more natural, but it's a chic nature! Simply amazing! After my stay at Baros, I watched videos made by tourists who stayed at other just as expensive resorts, and when I compare those to my experience in Baros, I'm so glad I stayed at Baros and not those other places! I think the thing that gives Baros a real advantage is that they are one of the oldest resorts in the Maldives, so they have had the time to iron out all the kinks of a resort stay, so they end up being PERFECT. Not only that, they recently renovated the entire island, so the facilities are actually newer than the newer resorts! My highest compliments to Baros!

Review 31：There is very little to not like at Baros, however some suggestions for consideration would be buggy service to rooms, have an open-roof restaurant that serves shisha and to provide a para-sailing experience.

Review 32：If you are looking for a relaxing, private and quiet getaway then this resort is highly recommended. It is within 30 mins from Male International Airport, Excellent Food (and Shisha), Excellent Service and Staff right from the airport pick-up to drop-off. Review 34：Everything - most relaxing holiday ever and staff so friendly and helpful. Spent the extra money on an over water villa with pool which was well worth it - room was very comfortable with all you might need provided. Breakfast was excellent and dining choices were great.

Review 41：When I decide to choose a place to stay, I always read the bad reviews first. That said, I really can't see what the complainers saw that I didn't see. The resort is the nicest place I have ever visited. The location is perfect and the staff is wonderful. Yes, it is expensive, but I find the experience to be worth it. These people know what they have and they charge for it. Just bring the Platinum card and forget about it. I love it and I hope you do too.

Review 59：Picked Baros for our hiney moon because of customer feedback >9 and because was the only resort with on-water villa still available. Everything was taken care off from the time we arrived in Male. 20 min boat ride from the airport and we got to the beautiful island. We arrived early morn and management was kind enough to provide a temp villa to relax until 1pm check in. We were not so lucky with weather - cloudy/rainy 3 of 5 days there. But last two days were great with sun bathing and snorkeling. Food was very good. At the management orginized welcome cocktail, chef when heard our comments about stir-fry from prior day that was more on the teriyaki side, arranged a complimentary stir-fry, one of the best i ever had. If you decide to book with them, pick breakfast included option at least; complimentary prosecco was great with late breakfast. I had to do a little work and WiFi was excellent (2-3Mbits) considering such a remote location. Service was excellent, management attentive and caring. The staff even waved as we departed on the boat to the airport :)) Will definitely go back soon.

However, we acknowledge that the breakfast times suited most of the other travellers and really embraced the concept of a relaxed and lazy start to the day. Also you had access to round the clock dining which included breakfast. So this should not be viewed as a negative but merely a preference!

Review 109：Absolutely everything! Our stay came as close as you can possibly get to perfection! It was a beautiful well maintained island with great snorkelling,staff were so respectful, friendly but also discreet, the food was superb and the atmosphere and ambience exactly what we were craving! The image surrounding us whilst drinking champagne in our pool overlooking the mixture of emerald green and turquoise blue waters with sharks, sting rays and colourful fish swimming by will be forever etched on our brain!
