Review 3：Absolutely loved Hotel are for my husband's 40th birthday surprise and I had asked for a room with a good view. We were certainly not disappointed! Lying in bed looking up at the mountains, with balconies on 2 sides of the lovely room. Incredibly welcoming and helpful hostess, who checked the live cam up the mountain to see if it was worth us taking the cable car, and when we just couldn't bear to leave, she accommodated us without having to change rooms. Fantastic food in the restaurant. The MOST beautiful location you could imagine. Fantastic walking, and back to the hotel for a beer on the veranda with stunning views. Just can't fault it!

Review 5：The hotel and staff were wonderful but the highlight of Hotel Bellevue are the beautiful views from our windows and the terrace. Also, the access to cable cars, funiculars and walking trails.

Review 21：Friendly staff. They picked our luggage up from the train station and delivered it to our room. The patio is wonderful on a nice day with amazing views to pair with hot chocolate and Baileys. Grocery store just down the street was easy to get to for s few supplies.

The couple running the hotel were extremely nice and helpful, especially as we plotted out our hiking routes. The breakfast buffet was awesome!! An incredible spread with a great view as well. Review 29：It is slightly difficult to get to the town and to the hotel since no cars are allowed. The payoff is the incredible location. Not much happening at night as it was the slow season. Food at the restaurant was very good but expensive.

Review 30：The location of the hotel is amazing. The town of Murren is stunning with the Alps soaring up all around. The hotel staff are extremely helpful!! Our room had a nice view and was very spacious, comfortable, and clean. The bathroom had a wonderful bathtub and shower with plenty of hot water. It felt so good after a day of hiking. We had a terrace that looked out to a drop dead gorgeous view of the Alps. Breakfast was awesome: hot coffee, fresh hot breads, croissants, and wonderful fruits and cheeses etc. We sat out on the deck with a backdrop of the mountains. The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar, and comfy sitting areas. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

The restaurant also serves a nice lunch and dinner with a lot of game on the menu. There is a launderette downstairs if you need to wash clothes but it's expensive (5 SF per load).

Review 39：The free wifi did not reach our room in the new section. But that turned into an advantage. We spent less time 'connected' and more time with family. The lobby was a great gathering point to catch-up on email via wifi, while enjoying the view.

The hotel keeper was so friendly and helpful with suggestions of hikes and activities suiting our needs. Really just a wonderful stay.

Our hosts, Otti and Ruth, were friendly and helpful, suggesting the best hikes and local restaurants. This hotel is not to be missed on your stay in Murren!

The rooms have character and fantastic views. Everything has been carefully thought out, down to the last details. We kept extending our stay longer and longer we loved it so much!

I had a room with a gorgeous view, and it was nice to have such good rest, and a wonderful breakfast each morning! The decor is charming, like a Swiss country chalet-- very special. Review 59：The Hotel was in the best location. The room was large and very quiet. The outside deck creates a place to sit and read a book, have a drink or just admire the beautiful view. We ate at the restaurant and the food was excellent. They will pick you up from the train and take you back. The only way to get to Murren is by a 5 minute ride on a Gondola. It was an easy ride and a beautiful view.

Review 60：Great hotel! When you book a room with a view you won't be disappointed. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good assortment of cheese, meat, bread, cereal, etc. The staff give very good recommendations regarding hikes, and things to do.

Safe for travelers with chemical sensitivities. Staff was friendly. Great breakfast included. Best lodging on our European tour. Highly recommend!

Review 65：The rooms were decorated in the "Swiss" style, very neat, very clean, and very comfortable. Ruth at reception greeted us with a smile on her face every morning and evening. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. We wanted to stay longer in this comfortable and homey hotel but we had reservations somewhere else. All the views were great. Murren is the best!

Review 67：We stayed here because my wife's cousin had stayed here previously and highly recommended it. We were not disappointed in the least. Not only did they give us a great room with a balcony and direct view of the Jungfrau, but their restaurant was top-notch with great food and service - we ate all of our meals there for our 3-night stay. Ruth and her husband Othmar were the perfect hosts and made us feel very welcome.

Review 72：The lovely touches everywhere you look in the room . The location and the panoramic view of Murren is unbelievable. The food was fantastic especially the morning coffee and cakes.

Review 74：The views from the room were stunningly beautiful. The interior is very cozy and the lobby was inviting for people to gather after dinner, and people did. The staff was friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel in Murren was perfect. Murren is a small, but not too small, Swiss mountain village which doesn't have as much commercialization as some of the other villages, but it still had a variety of hotels, restaurants, and shops. It is also somewhat conveniently located on the transportation system.

Review 76：We stayed in another hotel in for 3 nights. The first one is ok, but Bellevue is far better. The room is very clean and the facility looks very new. Especially the bath room looks bright and modern. Because of my mis-operation, our clothes were locked in the wash machine. The manager at reception gave me 5 Franc to open the wash machine again.

Review 77：The choice of cheese and ham at breakfast is rather poor - a nice mountain cheese + ham would be more suited for the place. When ordering dinner at night you gotta bring patience and entertainment for the hungry kid(s). When the food finaly arrives it is absolutely delicious:)
