Reviews for Hotel Garni Lindenmühle

Review 1:Oh, this place was just lovely! Beautiful old building, pretty grounds, really comfortable rooms, lovely balcony view, delicious breakfast, helpful & sweet staff, and free parking. Oh, and such a good location; lovely for gentle walks or hiking around the area!

Review 2:We would have liked breakfast to be available 30 minutes earlier.

Review 3:Characterful building and old-fashioned comfort. Handy for Ahrweiler/Bad Neuenahr and walking and cycling locally. Fresh fruit salad for breakfast!

Review 4:Unfortunately low-grade grumpy start from(a) reception staff member - but the other staff were excellent.

Review 5:It provides really big rooms, beautifully furnished in, I think, original 1960's Danish (retro style), but with excellent mattress. Breakfast was great - try their omelettes. Nice chilled wines/beer available on an honour system near our room. Our room was overlooking stream and garden (although maybe in high summer this area gets used by groups?)

Review 6:No concerns

Review 7:Very friendly & helpful staff. Included in room rate was very good breakfast Including a very good egg, bacon & cheese omelet. There was also lots of fruit. Room had a balcony overlooking a treed area which was very pleasant.

Review 8:The bed was already 5 years old, and very uncorfortable. That kind of matress with someone´s spine sculpted on it. the bed was making sounds for every moviment. you have to pay for the wifi

Review 9:Close to the city center big room nothing to complain about the breakfast, everything you want to eat, they have there. very clean big enough bathroom

Review 10:The hotel has no lobby or bar. All you can do there is go to your room. Not a big problem, but there is no wifi at the room (which is advertised)

Review 11:Very quiet! You will sleep well. Beds are comfortable. Only a short walk from the beautiful old city center, many good restaurants.

Review 12:The first view at arrival. Probably the very grey, rainy wheather played a negative rule. But once we were in the hotel our opinion changed 180 degrees, our stay was perfectly! Only one remark, there is no elevator, means the rooms are difficult to reach for those who are not strong enough to walk a staircase.

Review 13:All, the staff, the room, the bath room, the beds, the very good breakfast, and the value for money! Perfect WIFI. Even the location is not bad, only a 5 minutes walk from the very cosy centre of the little town, many shops and many good restaurants, splendid!

Review 14:Very good accommodation, nearby the old city center. Large room. Quiet environment. I hope that one day they manage to do a restoration of the old water mill. It will be an extra attraction :-)

Review 15:The WiFi worked sometimes for a short while when you tried to connect to it. and you loose connection often. tried my laptop my phone and my tablet.

Review 21:Good location, close to town centre. Good breakfast.

Review 22:I cannot say any negative about the hotel.

Review 23:The primary purpose of our travel was the 24h race at Nürburgring. The hotel is ideally located, just a couple of minutes from Ahrweiler Markt train station which connects Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler with Adenau, the norther segment of the racetrack. The room was clean and friendly with comfortable bed. The staff is very polite, breakfest is delicious.

Review 24:We had booked our room in advance so should have been expected but on arrival front door was locked. Rang bell, got recorded message in German. After ten minutes the owner appeared at the front door and seemed a little irritated with us and wasn't really apologetic. Quickly signed us in and gave us our key. Seemed in a dreadful hurry. Wanted to use the free Wi-Fi but nobody available at desk until when we returned from town late evening. There was a woman in the room behind reception who also seemed a little irritated that we needed to speak to her. She gave us instructions for the Wi-Fi but it wasn't clear and we gave up in the end. We felt that this rather unfriendly attitude by the owners let the hotel down. A few more smiles would have made a difference.

Review 25:Very attractive building. Bedroom was clean and spacious and well designed. Liked the balcony. Breakfast good.

Review 26:It was a bit hard to find at first but that was our fault.
