The Alpenblick hotel is a typical, quiet and small Swiss Chalet hotel in Mürren, offering superb views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.
It is situated a 3-minute walk from the BLM railway station and is thus a great base for exciting excursions, for example to the Jungfraujoch, which is a UNESCO World Heritage area. The Sports Centre and the centre of Mürren are only a 5-minute walk away.

Review 1：I loved everything about this hotel, especially the view from the room and the staff. The food in the hotel was great too! This is a great location from the train station, 3 min.

Review 3：The owners live onsite. Jeanette runs the desk and Thomas is the chef. They were very attentive, the hotel was spotless, and the food was excellent.

Review 5：One night stay only arriving at 1am but no problem and key and note had been left out for me ,very friendly helpful owner,room adequate but clean good shower with nice balcony ,good breakfast and overall very good value with the most stunning uninterrupted views to Eiger Monch Jungfrau which made waking up on a sunny morning on Christmas Eve quite wonderful.

Review 6：The Alpenblick is conveniently located close to the train station, the staff was friendly and offered very helpful information about the town and things to do in the valley. The restaurant for dinner was good and had a good breakfast. We had a great view of the valley from the balcony in our room.

Review 12：This is a great hotel in Murren. It is just down the street from the train station (though a little far from the rest of town). Jeannette is a wonderful hostess, delightful to talk to, and extremely helpful. Our room was very large with a balcony (gorgeous views) and comfortable beds/pillows/etc. The breakfast is one of the best included breakfasts we've had - yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, multiple types of breads, coffee, tea, milk steamed just for you, and juices. Being so close to the train station makes it easy to explore the valley and all of it's sights.

Review 14：We stayed there for 3 nights. The place is within short walk from the station. Had a balcony on the top floor overlooking the train tracks (was not bothered at all. On the contrary, we were pretty amazed to see the train going by quietly.) Great view and peaceful atmosphere. Good breakfast. Wish we could have stayed there a bit longer.

Review 35：During our four days in Switzland, we stayed two nights in Alpenblick and we were really enjoying our time. Actually it was the best hotel we stayed in the 15-day travelling around Europe. Close to the train station, the hotel has excellent bathroom facilities and the room was cozy and comfortable. Jeannette was so nice and when we checked in she offered to carry the luggage for us. Murren is a place worth visiting with its beautiful sunset and spectacular view of the valley and the snow mountain.

They were very helpful in fixing the problem so that I got the room and rate I originally reserved. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good. The hotel is very close to the train station and had a wonderful view of the mountains. It is also close to a beautiful, easy walking trail. I would not hesitate to stay there again, but would try to get a room facing the mountains.

Review 60：If there is something to complain about, I am not sure what it could possibly be. Maybe that the town of Murren only does the folklore show on Wednesday's... Luckily we were there for the show having stayed the weekdays! I'm surprised people find anything wrong.

Review 61：Amazing place! Probably not a bad place in Murren, but the Alpenblick has got to have the best views, the best food, best staff, best all around- hands down. It is maybe 200m from the train station. Simply perfect- the staff (Jeannette Vogt and Thomas Gertsch) went out of their way to make us feel like one of the family. Amazing food preparation! You can not go wrong basing out of Murren, and you can not go wrong staying at Hotel Alpenblick.

The location is great in Murren near the train station, our room was spacious, the views are unbelievable and the hidden gem was the restaurant. Review 67：They've made outdoor renovations first. In time rooms could use a more updated decor and bathroom a new shower stall & decor. Room was slightly small, but there was plenty of space to place luggage and belongings. The spacious balcony offset the room size adding extra living space to enjoy the views. The overall positive experience and comfort of our stay far exceeded our expectations and any slightly dated decor.

Review 68：Alpenblick is under new ownership & management since last year by a younger couple who take pride in providing their customers with comfortable and enjoyable stay. As new owners they are working hard to continue ongoing improvements and they have a plan to make their hotel into a place where people want to keep coming back to. We had a comfortable top floor room with a balcony and a magnificent view of the Eiger, Jungfrau & Monch. Beds & pillows are comfortable and we slept very well with the quietness & fresh air. Breakfast was a full Swiss fare and good, even including an assortment of homemade jams & jellies. In the evening we had asked for some hot water and the staff gave us a thermos of hot water to last us through the night. They also gave us a quick lift to the train station as our luggage was heavy and we were running late, even thought the station is only a 5 minute walk away. We would return again and can recommend this Mürren gem & experience of genuine Swiss hospitality to others to enjoy.
