Reviews for Don Los Cerros Boutique Hotel & Spa
Review 1:This hotel was expensive but well worth the money after a long hike as it was very comfortable. It is also very central so you can walk into the town within 5 minutes where you have lots of options for restaurants.
Review 2:The access and frontage gravel lane mars the property.
Review 3:The staff was all smiles and to a person very professional and caring. Eugenia, Juan, Milic, ... thanks.
Review 4:We thought there would be many trails, but hiking is remarkably limited. We booked 12 days, and Los Cerros charges it immediately. We wanted to go elsewhere after 4-5 days, but the manager was completely inflexible on us shortening our stay.
Review 5:As the hotel is on a hill, and our room and the restaurant has large windows, the views are wonderful. Breakfast was actually the best we had in Argentina. The rooms are quite large.
Review 6:The restaurant / breakfast was average... More variety would be nice
Review 7:Amazing place. El Chalten is magical. Extremely friendly and young/energetic staff. The hot tub was an excellent addition. Helped us with treks and transport! Receptionist, bar-tender were particularly helpful. Best Hotel in El Chalten (we saw the other places too)
Review 8:Nothing to say..
Review 9:This is perfect place to stay for 3-4 days, worth paying for it.. Nice restauranr and small spa area. Location is in the midle between treks.
Review 10:The bed was terribly uncomfortable. Nearly every "double" bed in Argentina is really just two single mattresses pushed together, but these were probably the most worn out on the trip. Also - the location atop the hill provides amazing views, but the trade off is the relentless howling wind all night long on the nights when the wind won't die down.
Review 11:The staff was spectacular. We got a flat tire upon our arrival and someone came out and insisted he change it for us! So kind. The welcome staff was gracious, as was the kitchen staff.
Review 12:Nothing really, a bit pricey maybe, and the spa is only open between 17 and 22.
Review 13:Beautiful architecture of the main room, elevevated with a great view, wonderful breakfast
Review 14:- if there is a party in town, you hear the loud music and sometimes until 2.00 a.m.
Review 15:- nice room with giant windows - good breakfast buffet - situated on a small hill away from the noisy main street
Review 16:Spacious room. Good breakfast with magnificent view. Free parking. Good location in the middle of the main street, close to the begining of Pitz Roy track. Excellent service.
Review 17:Nice view
Review 18:Massage table was terribly uncomfortable
Review 19:Nice location on the hill above town. Great views.
Review 20:Live music too loud in the evening.
Review 21:The staff was so helpful in providing information, food for allergy intolerant meals, lovely breakfast spread.
Review 22:nothing
Review 23:Very nice hotel! Very good restaurant, nice SPA. Very nice view!!!
Review 24:internet is not reliable and not strong.
Review 25:everything!!!!
Review 26:From the photo it looks like you are in the country but you are actually right in the little town. I think it was way too expensive for what we got. I would have been happier with a less expensive place to hike from. It is nothing special but the rooms are large and clean.
Review 27:Nothing.
Review 28:Very relaxed atmosphere in tune with nature and its location next to national park. Very friendly and efficient staff both at reception amd restaurant. Many extra small details, welcome drink, evening maid service etc. Fantastic views from the room. Decor with local flavour. Excellent dinner in the restaurant and staff offered champagne and cake for a birthday. We had a really memorable stay there and would love to return. I loved the fact that rooms did not have television as the focus should be on nature and the mountains.
