Reviews for Hotel Boutique Vendimia Premium

Review 1:The hospitality and efforts to help us getting around and making reservations for restaurant and winery visits. Breakfast was very well organised. We enjoyed the pool too!

Review 2:The toileteries in the room weren't great, but that's the only negative I can think of!

Review 3:Staff were excellent and gave us great restaurant recommendations and made the bookings for us. The room was very comfortable.

Review 4:It was a tiny bit pricey compared to other places we stayed in Chile. Not awful, but on the higher end, although to be fair, the facility was beautiful.

Review 5:The staff was all about customer service. They got us into two wine tours at the last minute, and made provisions for our poor Spanish. Breakfast and breakfast staff was delightful.

Review 6:The hotel is full of antiques, which are nice but make the place feel very cluttered, there is also a high corking fee (approximately $8) for wine which we did not encounter at other hotels in the area.

Review 7:The hotel has a lovely property with a nice sitting area outside by the pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Review 8:Shower was slippery

Review 9:We loved everything about this hotel! The staff is welcoming and the hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The hotel is small, think bed and breakfast, with a sitting room downstairs where you can enjoy a good book or a glass of wine. Breakfast is served every morning either in room or in the dining room, which we preferred because we met a lot of the other guests. We stayed in the "Carmenere" room that had a comfortable king size bed, storage space for hanging clothes and putting away suitcases, and a small refrigerator filled with drinks for purchase. The bathroom was full-size with ample light and enough shelving to stow toiletries. Juan Pablo and his sister were so accommodating! They were able to set up all of our wine tours so that we only had to pay the hotel directly at the end of our stay. They can also arrange taxis and reservations at restaurants for you around town. Don't miss lunch and tour at Viu Manent, Laura Hartwig, Clos Apalta from Casa Lapostolle, Puralma for a great dinner experience, and Vinobello for good Italian! We can't wait to stay at Boutique Hotel Vendimia again! Thank you for the memories!

Review 10:The friendliness and outstanding level of service of all the staff, including the owners. Extremely helpful, particularly with recommending and booking the tours of the vineyards. Very impressed with the deco, comfort of the room and hotel overall.

Review 11:wow beautifully decorated B&B. Comfortable, friendly, well worth the trip to Santa Cruz. Transport provided to wineries. Excellent breakfast and lovely staff.

Review 12:Nothing.

Review 13:Loved the atmosphere and antiques. Friendly and helpful staff and slightly quirky and 'different' hotel. Quiet but very near the centre of town. Nice pool to cool off in.

Review 14:The swimming pool is rather small.

Review 15:Very friendly staff. We were there on the evening of 31 Dec. and a very nice dinner/party was organized by the host and his charming partner. Thanks again!

Review 16:Very little - wifi didn't seem compatible with Apple Mac computers etc. Highly recommended.

Review 17:Friendly helpful staff, super clean spacious & comfortable bedrooms. Packed with historical local antiquities. Close to central square for restaurants & shops.

Review 18:Air Conditioner was really noisy

Review 19:Breakfast was incredible

Review 20:Everything was great!

Review 21:It was right in town and it was decorated with beautiful antiques.

Review 22:Wonderful staff, great location, boutique hotel but with anything you need. Definitely will go back on a future trip.

Review 23:Well appointed - extremely helpful staff

Review 24:Nothing

Review 25:Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast

Review 26:leyout, furtniture, breakfast, staff

Review 27:The staff was very helpful with booking tours and dining reservations. Pool and patio were very relaxing. They accommodated all of our needs.

Review 28:Cozy, like staying in a friend's home. Fabulous antiques and interesting décor. Excellent breakfast. The owner and staff provided personalized attention to all our needs, including tours. Parking available.

Review 29:We loved the charming atmosphere, the modern bathroom with a great shower and the very comfortable bed. The room was spacious and furnished with interesting antiques and paintings. The chairs were even comfortable. The staff was knowledgable and friendly. The location was great; on a residential street a couple of blocks from the Plaza de Armas and the Museo de Colchagua.

Review 30:Can't think of anything

Review 31:I loved the feeling and ambience. An old grand Inn. Like being in an Agatha Christie film. Breakfast in the dining room at the lovely dining table.Meeting guests who sat with us everyday.

Review 32:Low water pressure in shower & no hot water one morning.

Review 33:- staff was consistently helpful and cheerful - Beautiful home with great outdoor area with pool. - Delicious breakfast - Nice to have the option of buying a bottle of wine there.

Review 34:The staff is outstanding and very helpful and always happy to assist you any way they can. The hotel is spotless, ha s a very cute and comfortable pool, well equipped rooms and serves a good breakfast in a beautiful setting.

Review 35:Ask for a room on the first floor. We had a ground floor room and it had no windows.

Review 36:Lovely small family run hotel in Santa Cruz. Filled with antiques, fabulous fresh breakfasts, attentive staff, 10 minute stroll to the plaza de armas. What more can you ask?

Review 37:It's not really a negative but there seemed to be a lot of hotel 'rules'. There is a list of rules in the bedroom plus signs around the hotel with things you can and can't do. Appreciate the need to be respectful in such a lovely property but there just seemed to be quite a few!

Review 38:We stayed at the hotel Vandemia for two nights. Nadia the manager was great, advising us on places to eat and how to get around the small town. She even helped with some documents I needed to scan, kindly scanning them on the hotel computer and emailing them to me. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are shutters on the window which enabled a good nights sleep! The bathroom had a powerful shower and plenty of hot water.

Review 39:To the center is a 5-10 minute walk, which could be a problem for some people. The room has a fan, but on hot days aircondition could add more confort.

Review 40:Nice decorations, lots of interesting antiques gives it a colonial style. Cosy veranda. Good and friendly staff, very attentive. Surely (one of) the best town hotel(s) in Santa Cruz

Review 41:To say that this place is handicap accessible is false advertising! Oneof the main reasons we picked this place is due to it being"wheelchair friendly" according to Booking.com. However if youhave a temporary or permanent handicap, this place is not for you!It may be an interesting boutique hotel, with generally nice staff and a good breakfast, however it is very difficult to navigate on crutches, nevermind in a wheelchair. Most showers are inside antique emaille bathtubs, which you simply can't enter with a freshly broken leg. I was recommended to take a shower in the outside women's bathroom next to the pool, as it only had a small step. Apparently the men's shower was being used for storage. What's frustrating in all of this is that I'd emailed the hotel ahead of time to inform them of my condition and asked them to let me know if this poses an issue. The day after our arrival we'd asked if we could cut our visit short by a day (3 days instead of 4), so that I can find a hotel closer to the airport that can better accommodate my needs. It sounded like the owner was open to making an exception, but only if booking.com would not charge them a commission for the cancelled night. Once they received the okay, the owner went back on his word and we were told we had to stay for the full period. His argument was that he'd delisted the room and thus wouldn't be able to get other guests in. Funnily 5 of 8 rooms were still available online when he made that comment. Overall our stay was very disappointing due to the misleading information about being "handicapped accessible". Having a grip next to the toilet doesn't make you handicapped accessible. If you need handicap friendly facilities you should go elsewhere.

Review 42:The staff was generally friendly & trying to helpful, particularly Nadia. The breakfast was nice and the ambiance of theplace was relaxing.

Review 43:Our adult daughters complained about the rooster crowing too early, too bad for them, we thought it was great.

Review 44:The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is charming and very well appointed. Breakfast was fun and enjoyable. Pool area was also a lot of fun and the staff accommodated our requests for wine and cheese plate!! Perfect location.

Review 45:The location is about 4 blocks from the center of town. It didn't bother us, but others might find it too far to walk.

Review 46:Very helpful and caring staff. Good value for the money. We definitely would stay there again.

Review 47:For the price, CNN International should be included and is not. The hotel is very noisy. If you want to sleep, don't stay here.

Review 48:The staff is excellent - they should be compensated accordingly.

Review 49:The room that we had fronted the street and was noisy. When we closed the windows, there was no air conditioning. However, they provided a fan when we asked for one.

Review 50:The staff went out of their way to please--excellent staff. Also, they served a very nice breakfast.

Review 51:this was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to chile - excellent in every way. will definitely stay there again next time we are in santa cruz

Review 52:No bad things to say, but make a little effort to improve toiletteamenitties, like bar soap (the foam soap machine was no functional andso not at the level of the stay, I'm afraid), shampoo and slippers, maybe. But, as and overview, it's an excellent hotel, no 2 stars as theysay, at least they are 4. ¡Congratulations!

Review 53:Most impressive thing about this hotel is the large bed and spaciousroom for just one person. Another thing is the breakfast: full ofchilean countryside charme and very delicious assortment to enjoy for avery good price!

Review 54:Vendimia is a very charming inn-hotel. It is both beautiful and tastefully decorated with antiques. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom new and pretty with fluffy soft towels. The owner is an amazingly talented painter who only exhibits her work at the inn. Her daughter-manager is charming and helpful with any of your needs. We fell in love with the inn and the people. We went for one night and stayed for two and would go back if we lived in the area. The breakfast was wonderful with eggs cooked to order. Everything about this hotel is wonderful...it is walking distance to the town and there are several small restaurants with local food that we found reasonable and delicious. The town square looks to be going through a lot of changes with new buildings coming to life in a matter of months.

Review 55:The staff were so attentive and pleasant. We very much appreciated the helpfulness and professionalism of Nadia, the manager.

Review 56:Bedroom had no windows and was quite dark.

Review 57:Location, friendly staff.
