Review 1：Very friendly and attentive staff in this family owned hotel that has been in the same family for 4 generations. Clean and comfortable rooms that have been recently redone. Beautiful view. Is at the end of the village but an easy walk to the lift. They will come and pick up your things at the lift to take it to the hotel. Really nice pool and sauna with long opening hours. Restaurant was great with very good service.

Review 2：The only slight downside was that the bed could have been a bit more comfortable but still slept well in it. Also the room was a little on the hot side. Neither of which would stop me from giving this hotel a high recommendation.

Review 3：The staff was very attentive. They went over and above the call of duty to ensure our comfort. They gave us perfect hiking itineries and map and also gave us a great place to go on a rainy day (Trummelbach Falls). Loved the view of the Eiger from our balcony. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wish it could have been longer. Highly recommend this hotel!

Review 4：Very handy to the local train station if you're packing heavy (across the road), this hotel exceeded my expectations. Clean and exceptionally helpful staff. The building feels a little dated in places, but not overly so - it's perfectly fine, and has a wonderful pool and sauna. Nice food and an atmospheric bar, helped by their friendly bar staff.

Review 6：There's nothing that you could possibly not like at the Eiger. The setting is stunning and the view of the mountains is right across from their front deck. Most all rooms at the hotel have stunning mountain views from their decks. The hotel is located directly across from the train station, and the staff were waiting there to meet us to carry our luggage up the hill to the Eiger - and, we hadn't even asked for the service! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is both American and Continental, as substantial as you'd like, and delicious. The breakfast room is elegant and has large glass windows that look out to the mountains just across the way. The Piz Gloria gondola is a 10 min walk from Eiger. We couldn't recommend this place more!

Review 7：Nice hotel, very convenient since near to train station, but may lack some local feelings for the sake of which hotels in the town may be better. Quite good service, kind staff, good breakfast. I like the pool, not big but enough. Perhaps the only hotel with a pool in Murren. The view is absolutely fantastic.

Review 8：We loved this hotel! AMAZING views, great staff, family owned and run, the owner gave us his own jacket when we were underprepared for a day of hiking! We had the best time and would go back in an instant!

Review 14：The staff at this hotel is amazing. They are kind, attentive informative and helpful. Corinne at the desk answered patiently any and all of our questions. Susanna, insisted we take jackets and gloves for our excursions. We unfortunately had to deal with lost luggage for several days. Maria and Joseph in the restaurant were so kind and fun to be with that we looked forward to seeing them each of the nights we stayed at this magnificent hotel. The food, service, location, cleanliness and kindness of all staff is just a pleasure. It was our first introduction to Switzerland and did provide a warm and lasting memory for us! We especially enjoyed an invitation to a cocktail party one night hosted by the hotel. Murren should be your first choice if touring the Berner Oberland and Eiger Swiss Quality Hotel should be your only choice in Murren to stay. The view if the Mountain is literally at your window

Review 21：Very very friendly and helpful staff, who provided us the timetable of the cable car to Schiton, as well as the information of family card for the kid, which helped me to save quite a lot money in the rest of the trip. Rooms were wonderful with L'occitane shapoo, shower gel and body lotion.

Review 22：Amazing property worth the absolute best service. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Their breakfast is to die for! Perfect for prepping you for a day of activities whether you're hiking or skiing. If I'm ever back to Murren, I'll definitely be staying here again! Just wonderful.

Review 27：Breakfast feels like a flashback. In such a category I would expect more local produce and innovation. E.g. artisanal jam, local bread, fresh juices. Dinner is of high quality but a bit of innovation would not do any harm. It's about telling a story. Some rooms & facilities look a bit outdated. Towels must be provided in the pool area.

Review 28：Staff was excellent. You feel their passion and commitment. Even the hotel manager himself picked us up at the station. It's a very personal and warm atmosphere, which makes you feel very welcome and let you forget some other points mentioned. View is stunning and having dinner on the terrace feels like heaven. Mürren offers great walks and infrastructure is great for such a small village. Calmness of the car free town also really allows you to relax.

Review 33：This hotel is perfect. The hostess Susana and her staff are very friendly. We had a room with gorgeous view of the Jungfrau. The breakfast and meals were also very good.

Review 34：Good view and location, just next to station make baggage arrangement easy. Murren is a pretty village which can be discovered many pretty view. We did north face trail in Allmendhubel which was recommended by the staff. It was so amazing and it took us 4 hours to complete this route with great scenery. The dinner in the hotel is good though expensive. Breakfast is the best during our stay in Swiss. We went to Grimmelward in the next morning, that was an unexpectedly nice walk. The little village is more quiet and pretty than Murren, take the tram to there is convenience.

Review 36：Pretty much everything; staff was great, especially to our 6 year old who they charmed with service and respect. The room was great, the view breathtaking, the pool small but amazing and relaxing after hiking all 4 days there. Breakfast was excellent.

The hotel itself has nicely appointed rooms, excellent food in the restaurant and at breakfast, and a great pool area. And a very good masseuse who works wonders with hiking-related injuries :-) And the views from the hotel are amazing. If you are coming to Murren, stay here! Cannot recommended it highly enough.

Review 55：I can't say enough about what great hosts Adrian and Susanna are. Indeed the entire staff seemed dedicated to making our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We are a couple in our 60s and 70s and wanted to do a number of relatively easy and scenic walks in the mountains around Murren. During our six day stay, Adrian and Susanna recommended a number of walks that made our trip an unforgettable experience. Three tips: ask for a mountain view room on an upper floor, don't miss the walk to the fairy tale village of Gimmelwald and free cable car ride back with the Swiss Pass, and check with the tourist info center in town on arrival to see if your visit syncs with one of their guided walks or any local events in neighboring villages.

Review 56：From the very beginning to the end, we have a very good feeling and appreciate to the help of the staffs in the hotel. The letter they sent us before departure helps us find the way to the hotel. It is very smooth. There's also a jacket rental freely. Sightsee is so beautiful!!!

Review 58：Coming from America, my husband and I assumed their Jacuzzi was also ahot tub, which it wasn'T. This is nothing to do with the hotel, butmore of a misunderstanding on our part. Jacuzzi simply means pool withbubbles. A hot tub would have been nice after long hiking days, butregardless, it was refreshing!

Staff was beyond friendly, breakfast wasdelicious, and bed was the most comfortable we had in throughout ourtrip to Europe. We ate dinner one night at the restaurant, and one nightat the Eiger guesthouse, which were both fantastic. While in Murren, myhusband and I experienced some of the best hiking in the world. Stay wasfantastic, thank you hotel Eiger!

Review 60：The views of the Alps were outstanding. The hotel staff were all helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast buffet was bountiful, from muesli to eggs. The pool was relaxing and hikes in the area superb. We would stay here again and will recommend it to our friends.

Review 66：Pay for a room with a balcony. It was the single most beautiful view from a balcony I've ever had in my life. The room, view, staff, and location were all fantastic. It is right across the street from the train station so you don't have to lug your luggage somewhere else in town.
