Review 1：We stayed here twice. The first time we had a small stuffy room with no fan. (second time was better) Impossible to sleep as it was so warm and it's right beside a busy road.

Review 3：Booked this hotel last night the 11th August 15 we had room number 12 it was there sister hotel named the Goldener Karpfen Straight across the road from the Wilder Mann,when we arrived at the room on the first floor it was very stuffy and hot,on first inspection it looked clean although it was the first hotel we have ever stayed in that issued ear plugs later that night we understood why,the whole block we stayed in including the room looked very tired and for 80€ per night was disgraceful,there was no air con so we had to sleep with the windows open to our disappointment,the road below our window was very busy and incredibly noisy as a consequence of this we had no sleep what so ever,we complained to the hotel owner and she was very unsympathetic saying what do we expect,we had spent two Months traveling through Bavaria and we have always found the hotels good and priced very reasonably this was not the case here,so if you need a peaceful and good sleep we suggest not booking this hotel,you have been warned.

Review 7：Wifi connection did not work properly the second day of my stage. I got new bouchers but the problem was not solved. I stayed several times before in this hotel and never been asked to pay for the parking located on the same side as the goldener karpfen; this time I was asked to pay for it. I would understand to pay for a parking located into the hotel but not for parking on the street.

Review 9：Facade of the building faces relatively heavy road, cars must be disturbing. My window (on 2nd floor!) faces a dwell - very little daylight. A bit strange that reception is located in another "sister"-hotel across the road, so if you need to pick a map or something, you must go outside and cross the road. It is promised that reception works 24h, however at 5:45 I learned that there is no one until 6... Would be good to know in advance! No free Wi-Fi. Blanket was too short (I am 180cm).
Review 10：My room faced backyard, so it was very quiet. Room (single-bed) was small but decent. Nice coutry-style furnishing, clean. Friendly staff. I had to leave early, and I was given a rich doggy-bag for breakfast (one shall ask for it in advance). Hotel located walking distance from city center.
Review 11：-- no free internet -- I stayed here was at the end of September with fine weather , so I found the room very comfortable with good fit room temperature/humidity. Not sure if it would be the same in summer as no air-conditioning is in the room.
Review 12：If u are addicted to half-timbered houses, this hotel would absolutely be one of the good choices. -- the renovated building is with lift and the room is very clean & tidy. -- nearby to the bridge to cross to the opposite river bank where u can take good pic of the palace. It is nearby to other sightseeing points as well. -- the buffet breakfast is really good. Much choices of food & drinks. -- nice staff -- Worth to stay with such price.

Review 14：One of the best 3 star hotels we found on our trip thru Germany. Spacious room, good restaurant and breakfast. Offers lots of extras for n/c. And what we liked: close to the river Main, close to the ALTSTADT and lots of restaurants nearby.
