Review 1：The beds weren't particularly good, and the showerhead was not only terribly-cheap plastic, the temperature wouldn't stay constant when you opened the taps fully (independent of anyone using the sink or toilet in the bathroom). The plastic toilet lid was very flimsy, and the hair dryer was antiquated and *very* loud. The breakfast selection, aside from the pastries, was average: the fruits and juices were not fresh.

Review 2：The location is excellent, and the staff are really helpful and polite, but overall the hotel was a mixed bag. For every positive there was some caveat. The room was very nice and big, but the decor was dated. The restaurant served a phenomenal dinner, but breakfast was sub-par. There's ample parking and even a small game/rec room.

Review 3：Other guests were rude and loud. Not the hotel's fault but would have been nice for them to be addressed with other guests in mind.

The restaurant was closed as we visited during the low season, but from conversations with other guests it seemed that the rotisserie was legendary. The hotel has a good gym and spa area which would be welcome after a day outside. The rooms are very spacious and are in a good condition.

Review 100：So many things! Let's begin by saying this is not a 4* hotel. Whenwe arrived, instead of being greeted, we were interrogated. Nothingregarding the hotel's facilities was explained to us and the staffseemed to be put out whenever we asked for the information they had notgiven us in the first place. Even though we were paying customers, theyignored us and served everyone else at the bar ad at the lounge. Theyrefused to offer room service because they "didn't have" acontainer to take the food upstairs! Because of that we used the minibar only to find that the goods were all expired! The shower was lukewarm with cold spurts. There was no heating in the room and the blanketswere way too thin! Lets also mention the view over the dumpster full oftoilet bowls!

The hotel is veryconveniently located next to the main train station in Villars, thestaff is very courteous and tries to assist whenever possible. The roomas 'good' and met my needs perfectly for the price, quality,convenience. They have facilities and a process for you to still be ableto ski on your day of check-out where they store your luggage safely,offer shower and spa facilities after skiing is done, and make itconvenient to ski on your last day and not have to pay for anothernight's lodging for the services they offer. This was a huge benefit tome and I would recommend this hotel for convenience, value, service, andlocation. It is not a luxury hotel but, in my opinion, is a fantasticplace for a relaxing spa and lodge-like weekend. I travel extensivelyfor work and see a lot of hotels and would confidently recommend HotelDu Golf for the reasons I have noted above.

Review 125：I read negative comments about the hotel by past guests with regards tothe water temperature while taking a shower. We almost decided not to gobecause of these comments. The water temparature does vary. But it isdefinately bearable and depending on the time of the day it is veryconsistent. One way to overcome this is to take a bath instead of ashower. Still, if the hotel would study this issue in more detail andsort out the problem it would make the stay perfect.

Review 127：The hotel's housekeeping staff is not upto the 4 star standards., Wehad ask them to clean our room even after hanging the sign for 'cleanup my room'.After cleaning, the toilets were not completely refilled with the neccessary stuff like soap , shower caps and towels. I think this kind of service definitely needs to be changed and improved. Moreover the hotel prices are very expensive as compared to other hotels in the same area.
