Reviews for Hotel Classico

Review 1:Can't think of a thing

Review 2:Owner was very helpful and friendly . I speak enough German to get me in trouble but she spoke good English as well as Italiano and German and was able to direct us to an excellent restaurant for dinner . Breakfast was excellent . Rooms were very clean, bright and quite spacious .

Review 3:Wifi didn't work most of the time. Think we were too far away from the router. Had to go downstairs to access it.

Review 4:Large quiet room with plenty of free parking beneath the hotel and in the lot. Front desk staff was very accommodating and had a smile for everyone.

Review 5:Room was quite hot but not much you can do in the summer. Possibly a fan would help for air flow.

Review 6:This is a great little place to stay. We ve been twice before on our first and last day flying out of Germany. Room is very spacious with comfortable beds. Good foldout bed for our 4 year old and baby bed was provided for our 1 year old. I think the best part of this hotel is the lovely couple who run it. They are fantastic. Great stay overall.

Review 7:Null

Review 8:The hotel is in a perfect part of town. Easy access to downtown, autobahn. Safe area. A large park and biergarten within walking distance. Free parking!

Review 9:Not a thing!

Review 10:This is a hidden gem. I have stayed in Aschaffenburg before and had no idea such a place existed. Owners are very nice, enclosed parking free no less. Close to down town so we could walk easy without moving car. Place is very clean. This is important! Very good breakfast. We are going back in a week to stay again.

Review 11:If you are looking for a warm welcome, comfortable rooms, a great breakfast and tremendous value then go to the Classico. In easy reach of the river and historic town and very close to the A3; we used it as a stop-over from the UK to Austria and it was excellent.

Review 12:Nothing

Review 13:The owners were perfect hosts and their staff were always friendly and willing to help. The room was spacious and quiet. Traveling with our 4 month old was made easy.

Review 14:on outskirts of town, so needed to drive to see the town's highlights.

Review 15:With credit card problems, the staff went above and beyond, personally driving us to a restaurant, arranging to pay for our meal and putting the cost on our room bill ( didn't need to do this, as it turned out), super friendly, super personable, super caring staff. Very quiet comfortable room.

Review 16:No in-room coffee and tea facilities. However this doesn't seem customary in Germany.

Review 17:We were allocated a quiet room as requested. The room was enormous with a comfortable seating area. Very large bathroom. Free car park facilities in garage. Lovely walk (25 min.) down to the Altstad.

Review 18:We used the hotel as a stop over and booked a family room. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel has an underground locked garage so we felt secure to leave most of our luggage in the car. Breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly and sweet with the kids. Would definately recommend!

Review 19:The room was very clean and spacious and it was nice to have a terrace and a minibar. Breakfast was substantial and delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. We cycled into town for dinner, which was only about 10 minutes.

Review 20:The owner contacted us as we were running very late due to a serious accident on the autobahn. We were left keys to both our room & garage when we finally arrived at 02:00am. Thank you.

Review 35:The area was very nice and quiet. The room and the bathroom were very big. The breakfast area was charming and the staff was very nice. We recommend this place with all our hearts!

Review 36:Its located a little outside of the city centre but there is a bus 100 yds ( cost 3 euro) which takes about 10 mins. taxi back was 8 euros. Its quiet, comfortable, friendly and offers secure underground parking. Good value and its a nice town to visit. Ideal for a 1 night stopover.

Review 37:Not the hotel's fault...they were having an unusual heat wave and they don't have air conditioning (no one does, they don't usually need any). Our nights sleep was very hot and sticky.

Review 38:We only stayed one night, but the staff was so nice. The room is pleanty big for our family of 4, we stayed on the top floor. they had a great parking area below the hotel, and there was a lift if you needed one. the breakfast was good, with lots of things to choose from, they even offered to make us an egg. The owners are very nice, and she chatted with us over breakfast, which we enjoyed.

Review 39:The hotel was in a residential area so it was quiet and we felt safe to have our car parked on the street (We could also use their parking lot free of charge). Breakfast was simple, traditional German-style. We had beer at a bar across a jazz bar next to the castle (8 minuets by drive from the hotel), which was the best beer we had had during our 7 day-journey of Germany.

Review 40:Hotel staff was really friendly and helpful. We had just one night stayon our trip to Czech republic and back and it was perfect. Hotel wasquiet, spacious room - exactly what we like. On breakfast we had wideselection. I would definitely visit this hotel again....

Review 41:We have to think hard to find any complaints. The hotel probably wouldbe a bit difficult to find if you don't have a navigation system. Also,it's a little distance from the center of the city, but the staffassured us it was easy to get there by bus. We didn't actually try itbecause we had no need to go into Aschaffenburg center on this trip.

Review 42:This was a fantastic, small hotel on a quiet square in Aschaffenburg. The reception and breakfast areas were bright and cheerful and nicelydecorated. Our room was huge, bright, clean, and very comfortable. Weeven had a nice little balcony. The staff was very friendly andhelpful, and the breakfast was nice (excellent bread). There was plentyof parking once you found your way to the back of the hotel. There wasa free garage, but we chose to park above ground in the parking lotjust because it was easier. This hotel definitely was a gem. We wouldlook for a reason to go back to the Aschaffenburg area just to stayhere again.
