Review 1：Reception staff was a bit rude at times, they have very poor late-checkout choices which is bad. Breakfast is basic and could definitely use at least some vegetables. Would have liked a bathrobe in the room. There is no relax-department at this hotel.

Don't expect a view and the street can get noisy at times, but did not bother us too much.

At all Geneva hotels you will receive a free travel card for buses, tram and train in Geneva – valid throughout your stay. Excellent!

Review 55：The location of this hotel couldn't be better. I needed to check out just after 5am and the manager let me make myself a coffee in the breakfast room, long before it was open. My room was spacious by European standards, and was very quiet facing onto a lane way at the back. Room 105 for those planning a visit.

Review 56：Staff are very rude. they didn't modified our reservation for my friends to change 2 single rooms to a twin room and then after many discussions, our friends checked out the hotel and went to a near one. pillows are very soft and not applicable Wifi is awful exactly. the download speed was around 100 kb/s which seems unbearable. Geneva is an expensive city and you should spend more to expect same facilities to other cities

The hotel is within walking distance from the lake but it is not the same as being close to the lake and old city. Having said that, the hotel did provide a free pass for public transport.

Review 89：I am somewhat cautious about staying in city centre hotels. Hotel Suisse proved me wrong! The room design was wonderful. Probably one of the best I've stayed in. Plenty of room as well. For the english only speaker, there are a host of english language programs on the TV. The wi-fi is quite fast as well. The rooms are warm, but there is good air-comm if required. Staff are attentive but not intrusive. The hotel is opposite the main station, which is only 10 minutes by train from the airport. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, although these tend to be arabic/sub-saharan origin. Bear in mind that this is a busy area so some street noise should be expected.To be honest this was not a serious problem. My Genevois friends were equally impressed. For the weekend/ overnight traveller I would heartily recommend this hotel.

Review 91：I arrived here after staying in 5 hotels in different cities of Europe and this one was the best of all. To start with Reception was very welcoming and helpful. Whenever, we sought any sort of information, they always helped me. I made a request to make a slight change in my booking as I wanted to visit Zurich for a day in between and they accomodated my request. Location is very central and you can get to anywhere from this place, Just in front of main station. Rooms were quiet as the windows were double glazed. They pleasantly surprised us when they gave free transport passes to both of us. Also stored our luggage for one day when we went to Zurich. Breakfast was adequate and the lady serving the breakfast was also very polite and nice. Will definitely stay again and recommend to all.

Review 92：The staff were not only unhelpful but actually rude. No help with luggage, actually refused. Not a single smile. No greeting of any kind when entering the hotel. Was asked to pay the bill on arrival. Was charged SFS 5 for a tiny bottle of water from the minibar. The breakfast was bad with again indifferent and rude staff. This hotel should not be rated at all.

Review 93：Single room was quite small. There was only one available electricoutlet in the room. The reception desk did not have enough adapters(Swiss outlets are different from the rest of Europe). Toiletries in thebathroom were restocked only every other day.

Review 124：Lift very noisy and we hear it from the rooms. Rooms are not ready before 13h to 14h therefore you should manage to wait if you arrive before that time. it was overpriced for the quality of the rooms.

Thiswas absolutely not the case as there was a clear mark on the bed, soI could easily tell. Moreover, a sock was down the bottom of the bedfor 2 nights!Bed springs were very old and uncomfortable. WiFi keeps cutting out and you need to log in every 5 minutes. Breakfast is very average. Air-con is old. Hotel is very old but renovated. Lift is extremely old! DON'T STAY HERE!
