Review 1：Everything in the room was loose and a painting fell down in my head while I was lying in the bed. The railroad was just outside the hotel with heavy diesel trains passing throughout the night.
Review 2：Although on Balmaceda road, easy from airport to town, this road just splits into a kind of parallel road for only 150 meters, and the hotel is there. So on main Balmaceda you will not find the house number. From airport when in 1250 number range, turn right, go OVER the railroad crossing , then after 25 mts, turn right in the parallel part. Only one larger building. Parking is in front and closed with fence, so look for the name "inside" the parking
Review 3：We returned to hotel for one night (see previous review) after a stay in Iquique. We were really welcomed. All staff pleased to see clients return. We were given the same comfortable room ( nr 1 , one "matrimonial" bed). Could leave the car and luggage and change clothes before driving to airport. Within easy walking distance of town cntre. Calama is absolutely worth a 1/2 day , or more , visit for the atmosphere in the city centre. Just sit and watch. Go to mercados (2). Eat in restaurant " Familia" at the beginning of pedestrian part of main street coming from hotel, left, behind a tree...Only a door entrance, but excellent menu del día (5 €,6 $, soft drink included) freshly cooked, a treat.
Review 4：travelling on my own I did not feel save, the door can of course be locked, however would be easy to open, if somebody wants to. The good thing is, the property itself is locked with a gate and there is somebody at the recepetion. This was not so obvious for me in the evening bit loud due to railway and street
Review 5：do not expect luxury for this price, but everything you need is there easy to reach the Airport by car, easy to reach the city center walking parking on the property
Review 6：The train nearby is noisy, sometimes making windows rackle, but it didn't bother us during the night Lack of hooks in the bathroom and two separate taps in the sink for hot/cold water.
