Reviews for Hotel Costa Bahía

Review 1:We arrived at 11 p.m. After a very long day travelling and they gave our room away because we were an hour late. Staff were not very helpful and the hotel is not in a very nice area.

Review 2:NOTHING

Review 3:WiFi didn't work for two days, laundry service does not consider the amount of clothes; instead someone give approximately weight (two kilos of clothes were charged as four). Breakfast is poor.

Review 4:Very near to the bus station, good pricing, staff was very kind, even doesn't speaking English fluently

Review 5:Arriving in evening with kids, prams, bags, it was firstly difficult to stop anywhere near hotel entrance. There is no parking or even a 5 minute drop off zone. Then you have to walk up several flights of stairs to get to the reception, then more stairs to get to the rooms. There was loud noise from a downstairs place well after 11pm and the open window to let air in, also lets traffic noise in. Paying was also an issue as we were quote the price in USD on booking.com when we booked but when we arrived and wanted to pay on credit card already submitted to booking.com the hotel said they could only charge our credit card in local currency and the conversion seemed more than quote price, when we looked at current rates, but receptionist had her own calculator rate we were not allowed to see. then there was a sensor light for the dark corridors that led to the rooms, so every time someone walked down the corridor a bright light shone into our eyes from our bed. all in all, it was not cheap enough to have such a hard time even arriving, let alone sleeping with noise and bright lights. The breakfast of soggy bread and a single piece of manufactured ham and a thermos to pour your own hot water was less than an incentive to stay either. Shop around for a better place I think.

Review 6:First room, the shower didn't work. Second room, the light was out in the bathroom. Advertised wi-fi didn't work. Not a lot of care put into the place.

Review 7:Nothing,really.

Review 8:Echo in hallways - rather loud when someone arrives and speaks A bit of a rough neighborhood, but normal because it's close to the bus terminal. One just has to be smart about it and careful at night

Review 9:Very clean Spacious rooms (average) Basic but has everything needed Nice staff but speaks only Spanish

Review 10:The owner does not turn on the heat until the early AM...one night was really cold.

Review 11:I don´t believe that there is a hotel that provides this quality for this price in Puerto Montt. It is close to the bus station, and relatively close to the boats. Great staff, everything is new...very, very clean.

Review 12:* Standard breakfast you get everywhere in Chile * Local area gets noisy at night. Ask for a quiet room.

Review 13:* Modern hotel * Clean rooms * Really good shower * New beds * Helpful staff

Review 14:- ongoing heating or building drying system 24h, noise directly in front of the window - shower small in height, I'm 1.80m and had ~ 5cm left to the roof

Review 15:- nice and helpful staff members - bed was comfortable - breakfast was included (but don't expect a buffet, you get 2 slices of toast, one small orange juice (not fresh), one slice of cheese and one of ham)

Review 16:* The surrounding area * Music noise in the evenings until late * Misinformation/Communication breakdown for tourist tours * No notification of possible Electricity turnoff on a Sunday

Review 17:* Close to Bus Terminal * No cost for local calls * Close to Supermarkets

Review 18:Located close to the red zone and bars, bed was not so comfortable. No hot water for shower on sunday

Review 19:Walkable distance to downtown, angelmo, etc

Review 20:The location of the hotel is really terrible, in a very dirty and unsafe area of the city. Very small and dirty bedroom and bathroom.

Review 21:The room was very tidy, it had good wifi. The room had keycard entrance. The bathroom was small but clean and modern.

Review 22:No parking nearby. Previous guests smoked in the room. You can hear other guests through the walls.

Review 23:Good price

Review 24:Wi-Fi not very stable

Review 25:Room with big Windows, Restaurant with interesting view down to busy market street

Review 26:The area is a bit doggy

Review 27:comfortable room and bed

Review 28:Although we encountered a few problems, the manager went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction.

Review 29:The hotel was located very close to everything you must visit and see in Puerto Montt. We have had a great and safe time there.

Review 30:no hay cobertura de internet en la habitacion

Review 31:Atencion es buena, nos ayudaron en todos
