This former schoolhouse turned hostel is 13 km south of Selfoss and the Ring Road. It offers a communal kitchen, free WiFi and a guest computer.
Hostel Gaulverjaskóli’s rooms are simply furnished and have shared bathroom facilities. Some offer views of the surrounding lowlands.
The daily breakfast buffet includes cereal, breads, cheeses and cold meats. Lunch packs or soup suppers can be arranged on request. Leisure options include a small lounge and a children’s playground.
